  1. Another beautiful lume. This watch HAS to be the rep of the year.
  2. Nice post. The rep is as good as it gets IMO. I love the feel of the rep strap. Smooth and comfortable.
  3. Freddy doesn't even need to verbalize his photo selections. Beautiful watch, as usual.
  4. There is no rep version of the rubber strap and deployment. I own the gen set up with my Seamaster 300 pro,and it is well worth the cost. One of the nicest straps available IMO.
  5. Don't know why my photos don't work, but for me the best reps have been the MBW Nautilus, and the new Noob AP Diver. The new AP Diver is as good a rep as I have ever owned. My watchsmith believes it is gen quality. The real deal is 15,000 to 17,500. The rep is a bit less than that. The current 5711 Nautilus is 20,000.00 plus. The rep is a a bit less. Classic timepieces. We are very lucky to be affialiated with such credible dealers, selling such fine reps. Thanks to guys like Thomas.
  6. Happy....Thomas, You are the MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Beautiful photo of a beautiful watch. Wear it well.
  8. Absolutely. Not only the Nautilus, but the Aquanaut as well. Genta's stainless steel watches elevated steel sport watches to the quality designs of the horology world in the 70's. The AP Royal Oak as well. Classic designs yet to be equaled. Look at the costs of these original designs in the vintage watches we now so covet. Genta designs are classic understatement of design perfection.
  9. This watch is my next purchase. My last purchase was the diver. Wear it well.
  10. Gran and RobertK in the same thread...that is cool. Some nice watches as well. Thanks.
  11. Rather Bland???? Your kidding right? The diver is as good as it gets in the APROO line. The Themes is a beautiful watch, but as far as the dial, bezel, strap, are concerned I would say it is rather bland compared to the diver. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. Wear ability too is an issue. Most ROO's are too thick IMO. The Diver on the other hand is only 13.75...THIN TO WIN!!!!!
  12. The vintage 50's are very cool watches. I was in Wempe in NYC a while back and tried on the 50th Anniversary model, and talk about a beautiful watch. I actually preffered it over the vintage models because it was a bit thinner on the wrist. Some of the vintage models are like 16/17mm thick. The 50 Anniversary was like 13mm. Check it out online. A beautiful piece.
  13. If the dealer you are buying from is asking you not to post QC photos, then I would say respect that request. There are many members here that will pick apart ANY photos of a rep, or a gen. Let the buyer beware. Even a perfect gen...much less a perfect rep...have flaws.
  14. Many people put a gen strap on a rep. Many people put a rep strap on a gen. Straps are available from MANY sources. It is all about the hunt.
  15. The 50F is a beautiful watch...as well as a classic. I know that Davidson is the best source. The only rub on any of the 5 models currently available is the thickness. I am one of the 6.75 wrist guys, and this watch sits on my wrist like the proverbial Hockey Puck. The average Pam is really normally thinner, in spite of its width. If you have the average 7 to 7.5 wrist diameter, then go for the 50.
  16. Mario Paci...THE MAN. One of the best purchases I ever made was one of his custom straps with sewn MP buckle for my 183. Thanks for the memory.
  17. A great loss for humanity...certainly a genius. But then as he had stated clearly, death is a way to make way for change. While he was with us he changed the whole world.
  18. Oh I see???? Still not amused. Too much information available these days. Assuming that anything you put on the net is fair game, is not fair. Oh well, thanks for the explanations. Will this google listing ever just go away, or is it there forever?
