  1. Congratulations. Obviously a labor of Love. Beautiful watch. Wear it well.
  2. Played around this weekend photographing a few of my divers. This is one of my oldest watches...got it in 04 from one of our favorite dealers. Seamaster 300 Pro - Correct HE valve placement. One of TW,s best. 21j asian. Runs like a top. Finally put on the gen rubber strap I have had for a few years....eh voila. Beautiful, isn't it? The photo background I used is a shot taken off Maui, of my pal George at a spot called 'Dumps' The gen rubber strap is unreal on this watch. Hope you like.
  3. This entire thread is a joke, right? No one would really post a rep on a gen forum, would they???
  4. Lasik...piece of Cake. You will be happy.
  5. Nice thread. Welcome. If you have the time for watches...this is the place.
  6. The criteria was 'best out of the box' ACCURATE to gen reps. The Pateks and a few others named here are not 'accurate' to the gens. In 2008 the Breitlings for the most part compared to others were dead on in look and feel to the gen. I too, feel as though the best reps ever are the MBK Nautilus and Aquanaut, but neither are dead on to the gen...super reps nevertheless. I think that for me the SOSF and the SOH are best out of the box.
  7. Great looking watch. Perhaps the best Breitling of the year. Lots of good strap combo's for sure, Zulu makes the watch look too military looking. Black and red stitching is really nice, but best IMO is the rubber diver strap. Lanakai does it again.
  8. I love the Davidson 95. Price is an issue. But considering I used to pay 400.00 and 500.00 for MBK's, this series of the FF's at 300.00 (+) is still not a bad deal. The BFF series is a classic.
  9. Little late this week, but this quick and dirty shot makes me smile. Ziggified MBK I am a lucky guy.
  10. Actually its all good anymore. But like others on this thread I have to agree that my favorite watches are the MBK PPN and Aquanaut. Pams are a look. Beautiful watches. Patek Phillipe watches are the essence of timeless design.
  11. HB to us. Best watch forum on the planet.
  12. I like all of them. I agree that these designs would do Rolex well.
  13. Man oh man, what beautiful wrist shots this weekend. HARLEY 357 photos are unreal. Bump on his Bulgari and PO chrono photos.

Unreal. Thanks for the photo. Wonderful piece.
  15. Wow what beautiful photos. Thanks.
  16. A lot of water under the bridge here on this thread. Gotta think that 'Neil' is reveling in his banishment. Never seemed like he needed the dough he made in rep sales...he was in it for the glory only. He didn't like it very much when after his banning here was reported, I mentioned that 'he would miss us more than we would miss him'. The good ol days of flaming at TRC were always humorous, but somehow pathetic at the same time. I am quite sure he is reading this thread as it is written, and loving every minute of it.
  17. I learned this lesson about servicing a long time ago. If the rep I buy is worth the money, like a 450.00 PPN, then spending a little more for proper service of rep movement only makes sense. We in this community are indeed lucky to have a man like Mr. Z to help insure a long life for our favorite watches, thats for sure.
  18. Congratulations. Hope Mom is doing well.
  19. Johnnyboy was the tennis pro from Canada. Actually he was the real deal. Jetmid was a fake of the fake. Omni has it down. Funny to think of those days at RWG1. Jetmid was a lot of fun. You had to be there.
