Like cheiftang I prefer the original ss bracelet on my 3717. My model is the original EL TW 3717. Mods include Ziggification of the date wheel...full bitchin lume, and 7750 servicing. Never did get the double AR. One of my top 5 watches of all time.

Stealthy...dude.

Wow. Perhaps the most beautiful pam photos ever. What a beautiful watch. Black shark strap 199%. Thank you. Wear it well.

This guy doesn't look like Tom Cruise. Listening to the audio is very cool. A professional. He does not see himself as a hero. But of course he is.

Neither. Look for the SeaMaster 300 with the black dial/bezel. Blue?

VERY Beautiful. Makes you want to own a few more. Very nice. A watch I will never sell is my original EL 112. Very nice collection.

I am waiting in a long line for a good FF. So far no good. IMO.

Haven't sold many, I still love my 3 Pams, my other 5 rolli's, 4 Omega's, Cartier Tank, my Casablanca.... still love them all...just never wear them...(much). I have turned pretty much into a Diver kinda guy. I currently own 5 Divers with rubber straps. Pam 112, Sieko Black Monster, Omega Seamaster 300 (black dial), BSOH Heritage, and my favorite these days...the PP Aquanaut 5167. I LOVE all these watches, and have no plans to sell any of them. Every once and awhile I pull out my 20 count watch case, and just 'look' at all of them. It would be nice if they were all gen, etc., but I don't really care all that much whether they are fake or real...to me they are just beautiful. If I had the money to buy the 20+ gens of the rep models I own, I would have beeen way discouraged with a lot of my original purchases. It took me 25 or 30 tries at buying reps to figure out what it was I liked. And it turns out my favorite watch of all times is the Nautilus. Pretty much perfect design IMO. Even if I could afford x20 5000.00 watches, I would probably not ever spend 25,000.00 to 35,000.00 for a gen PP Nautilus. With my MBK Nautilus I am quite happy to wear it pretty much on all occasions, quite happily even though the MBKN isn't even CLOSE to the gen. Still one of the best reps ever made. Glad to own it. My top five in my estimation are all classic watches. Of my other rolli's for instance, I have a SM Daytona, a really nicely modded sub, a classic TW case/dial Explorer I, etc., but although I don't ever wear them, I will probably not ever sell them. Maybe I'll just give them away as party favors one day.

All reps. 4 of the 5 Ziggified. The PP's are my favorites, but the 3717, the Heritage and the 6265 see a fair amount of wrist time. Owning over 20 watches has been a fun ride to discover what really works best for me. The 5 I show here are the pick of the litter. Only watch I am looking forward to purchasing one day is the Fifty Fathoms, other than that I am pretty much done.

2008 MBK Patek Philippe Aquanaut (5165) Review
jeff g replied to Corgi's topic in Other Watch Reviews
I am quite sure that The Zigmeister works on Asian 21j movements, I just can'r justify spending an additional 150.00/200.00 for this particular watch. Perhaps when I can get a quality eta movement. -
2008 MBK Patek Philippe Aquanaut (5165) Review
jeff g replied to Corgi's topic in Other Watch Reviews
Here is the face shot of my 5167 CN Aquanaut - 40mm (42mm) x 10mm The dial and indices and numbers are spot on to the gen. The date window is located WAYYY too far left compared to gen...but I do not care. This watch in comparison to the 5165 is larger by more than just a few mm. It wears totally different IMO. Same rubber strap and deployment as gen 5165/67. Personally I like the increased case size compared to the 36/38mm 5165. As I have mentioned in quite a few other threads concerning this watch, I sincerly feel as though this 5167 is THE MOST COMFORTABLE watch to wear. Often time, I don't even notice I am wearing it. I purchased this watch for 120.00, from a collector over at RG...without a doubt the best deal ever. The current MBK 5165 is for sale thru dealers like Narikka for 540.00!!! quite a difference in cost. My CN model is asian 21j, and looses about 30 seconds per day. Were any of our dealers to offer the 2008/09 5167 (40mm) with eta or eta clone, I would buy it in a minute and send it off to The Zigmeister post haste. Originally I did not like this Genta design all that much, but after seeing reviews like Corgi's and others here, when the 40mm 5167 came available I snapped it up. As stated, it is my favorite daily beater, because now I can still wear a classic PP sport look without sacraficing my MBK Nautilus (best rep EVER) to daily abuse. -
2008 MBK Patek Philippe Aquanaut (5165) Review

My Aquanaut is CN 5167, not MBK 5165. The case size is 41mm/42mm w crown. For me, the perfect size. MOST Comfortable watch I own. Second most comfortable???PP Nautilus w/ss bracelet. -

Come on. No means no. You get your deposit back, end of story. As a business man I have the choice of whom to deal with, or NOT. Find someone else to help you. Making an issue of it on this forum is a waste of your time.

Interesting information. I own 4 seikos. Gen's???? My best is the Black Monster.. Should I be concerned about its authenticity????

If you say it is all good, then it is all good. Thanks.

Value of a Blacksteel v2 with Swiss 7750 and relume?

Sounds right to me. -
Fit and finish. Not owning all the gens that some here on this forum are fortunate to own, I speak as a wanna be. However, I wear my MBK PP Nautilus for three or 4 days, and then I switch to my PP Aquanaut, or my BSOH. And although my reps certainly are not the quality of the gen's, when it comes to fit and finish, these rep models are way ahead of the curve. That being said. My rep MBK PP's are QUALITY watches that are as comfortable and luxurious as the gen. The rep BSOH with the REP OR strap and deployment are equal in fit and finish to the gen, IMO. Regarding the Nautilus and Aquanaut, although the reps are inaccurate compared to the gens, when it comes to fit and finish the MBK's are remarkable replica's of 15,000 to 30,00.00 watches, at a fraction of the cost. There are rep watches out there that are definitely as nice or nicer than many gen's especially when it comes to price point.

What is the most and least comfortable watch you own?
jeff g replied to RobbieG's topic in General Discussion
Most comfortable - PPK Aquanaut with rubber bracelet and deployment. Only watch I own (including SMP), that I forget that I have on. PPK Nautilus also extremely comfortable with SS bracelet, but I wear it loosely. Most all watches can be made to fit comfortably if the time is taken to properly fit the bracelet. I was surprised to see a post saying the Heritage was most UN comfortable. For me it is the opposite. I have a sub 7'' wrist and I think the 46mm case on the Heritage because of the way it is made fits my smaller wrist really comfortably. Least comfortable would be the AP T3, just to thick. Like wearing a hockey puck. 45mm PO is unwearable for me. Just doesn't feel balanced, For 45mm watch is wears larger than a Fiddy. -
Very nice. Clean. Reminds me of a model of the older seamaster. Beautiful.
