  1. Silky soft and smooth! Looking good
  2. Dear god that is beautiful!!!!! Nicely done M!!! Wait till the new sub dial hands arrive - that should be the icing on the cake. Now the most important question of the day: Where on earth did you get that beautiful date wheel???
  3. Wow. Impressive collection. Now tell us more about that PO?
  4. Personally not much of a fan of gold watches, but that one is in superb condition! As for the Gallet, that is one amazing looking watch!!! Good call on preserving it! I think it's simply gorgeous! Too good looking to break apart for the movement.
  5. Let's see some more pics of that beauty!!!
  6. Love it! Makes me want to get one again! As discussed before, looks so much better without the cyclops!
  7. It's definitely different.
  8. +1 on DSN. Accuracy of that level cost money. No way around it. Stick with what you've got or start saving your money. Only option I'm afraid. Good luck
  9. Amazing photos! Thanks for sharing and welcome to RWG!
  10. Franken DateJust kind of day today:
  11. Very, very nice!! I hope my 168000 turns out as nicely as that one did! Congrats!
  12. Only way I could justify the expense is if there was some way I could make a work trip out of it. Know of any post production studios or music studios in need of some technical skills
  13. It's a shame that that happens sometimes. We do close threads sometimes, but only when they get way out of control or way off topic. We invite creative, friendly, vigorous debate here. Just keep the name calling out of it and it's all good Thanks for the rant! Now unfortunately, we have to ban you
  14. Yup.... what everyone else said! Looks great!
  15. Another SwissFish for Tuesday. Hasn't left my wrist in well over a week!!!
  16. You have to try and PM him first. Also note that he is out until late June or early July and is not taking on any new projects at the moment. His PM system may even be turned off. Ziggy only takes on projects when his schedule allows to prevent getting over burdened with work. He also has a lot of people contacting him to bid on a project only to back out in the end. He is very, very selective on who he will work with. He doesn't waste his time on people who abuse his time and efforts. Try PM'ing him first and good luck
  17. Just looking at the pics of my old one and others on the web and you are 100%. It really does look like the cyclops was an afterthought. I love the look of yours though. Have you received it yet? Looking forward to seeing some more pics
  18. I've often thought about it. Who couldn't use an extra $10k in their savings account. The real question is: can you put a monetary value on the enjoyment you get from the hobby? I know I sure couldn't. I love it! Where else can you enjoy something so thoroughly and meet some great friends in the process? Another great thing is being able to spread the expense over several years instead of spending that $10k on one gen. Where's the fun and enjoyment in that? Just my thoughts on the matter
  19. Sounds like an amazing trip! Best of times for all of you! Wish I could be there too!
  20. Wow N! That one was always one of my favorite ones you did! Looking sharp.
  21. Did you only receive one picture? That would be somewhat odd. If you have other pictures it could confirm Torobravo's suggestion that it is an effect of crystal distortion. Other pics would definitely help sort this out.
  22. BTW.... here is an excellent donor watch! Buy it now for $125.00 Of course, it could be a poljot 3133 which would definitely not work well. EDIT: Upon further inspection, it does appear to be a poljot so never mind
  23. Ridiculous price. Most likely will need a service as well so whoever bought that is looking at spending at least another $150 - $200 for that one. Interesting that the prices are going up though. It's getting harder and harder to source the case parts needed for a decent Tudor MC so I don't see why there would be such a large demand for these movements.
