The iPhone 3Gs and newer have a touch focus, not permanent infinite focus. Touch the part of the image you want to use for metering and focus and it adjusts.

There's a news piece from a few weeks back .. a pro photo studio wanted to show that it isn't necessarily your $$$$ camera that gives results ... so they shot an entire session with an iPhone on a tripod. Studio lights, professional model, post-processing done by their normal retouching house.

OH! Sorry for being unclear; I was easily able to clean the crud out of the open diver's extension .. my question was .. how do you open it without a small screwdriver? If you were on a dive boat, and you wanted to pop it open .. whats the proper way? The tiny triangle you must grasp is so tiny, it would seem to only be usable with a small prying tool.

Has anyone ever tried fitting gen (aftermarket??) sapphire crystals into the reps? I see both the curvex and the long island style are available in sapphire on the 'bay.

I thought Offshore commented on this sizing already and had come to some conclusions a few weeks ago on this matter.

After 13 months of almost daily wear including bed time, it was pretty funky/scary in there I think I saw a C.H.U.D run out as it opened! Is there an easy way to do this without a jeweler's screwdriver? It's so compact and tightly fitted.

Wow - a nice, close match up. I never thought of PVD as being graphite colored but that certainly is. The gen seems to have more of a copper colored infusion, beneath.
