  1. yeah. what KB said.
  2. One week? Thats not very impressive Contact the seller immediately, and see what they offer. At the very least they should partially pay for a local repair.
  3. oo lavender
  4. Thanks for cross posting! I'm happy for the old fellow, and those certainly are a few huge bags of steaming cash.
  5. I can definitely see a happy foot sticking out in one of the black dial photos
  6. I just noticed that Watches International has been converted to an iPad application ... the initial reviews are good. Has anyone tried it yet, to comment?
  7. I am thinking of moving from the large (and old) Sony F828 .. it was a very early 8MP camera with full size zeiss lens and DSLR style body, but permanent lens. It takes fantastic pics but I'm tiring of the great honking size of it. I wanted a true DSLR at the time, but the least expensive model was almost $2000, so at $900 the Sony fit a combination of wallet and desire. I was thinking of moving to the 4/3rds design, myself. I'm still researching
  8. new model family photo
  9. The new "Four Thirds" camera designs sound perfect for you. Point n Shoot sized bodies with full size/quality DSLR image sensors and interchangeable lenses.
  10. Be certain to request approval photos of the watch, before you accept shipment cnm .. if you're unsure about the photos, post them here so a Breitling expert can comment.
  11. Sounds like a grand idea.
  12. Right .. the normal Incabloc shock absorber which you have pictured is what I received. Thanks
  13. I picked up a 2824-2 at a nice price on the 'bay but on close inspection the shock system was a normal Incabloc, whereas I've come to expect the newer incabloc novodiac system. Can a new 2824-2 come with a normal incabloc shock? thanks
  14. keyless repair should cost between 50 and 70 dollars. are you sure you want to toss it and start with a new watch over such a simple problem? to answer your question ... every dealer is free to charge whatever they like for a watch. There is no set price for an eta dssd, for example. some charge a lot more than others. it's your choice to pay more or less.
  15. Close! It's Lechworth Falls, 2 hours from Niagara, in NY
  16. Awesome choice, and you'll love the zig-man's lume work.
  17. Awesome reflections on that DSSD, Donerix
  18. Scary! I hope you figure this out.
  19. I have to admit, I've never seen this combination of details on one watch before, altho I only joined the Community after the release of the original version 3 by the Cartel. Note the flat pearl, the thick casing of the HEV, the very silver metal flake numbers in the insert .. the very very thick minute indices on the insert .. the medium thickness hour marker rings on the dial .. and the incorrect pin/screw work on the clasp and diver's extension ... mirror polished caseback bezel. It looks like a V3 (or earlier!) cartel case and bracelet with some odd bezel insert added. Maybe to replace a crazy |10 | insert which came with many V3 cartel pieces. I have never seen a V1 or a V2 so it could be one of those.
  20. Its not cheap. That's the standard price for a 21j noobmariner on this forum. Im not a noobfactory expert so I can't guarantee this is a noobmariner. Ask the merchant.
  21. Just received my B&R 02 back from The Katt! (non-forum CONUS watchsmith) Wearing it all day in celebration.
  22. Ive been curious about this myself. looks like the crystal needs to be rotated 1/2 second in a clock-wise direction on this one.
  23. You posted pictures .... all of the exact same thing. How about pics of the sides, back, clasp ... then we can tell. I've actually never seen a DSSD with such a silver insert. It looks like someone rubbed silver model paint into it. More photos .. of different aspects please
  24. Yeah, timeshops has a mind-blowing sale for about 1 month now on noobfactory watches but I dont think they are recommended on this forum. like half price. I dont think they are listed here tho.
