Its so easy to break a keyless setup in a watch. Just press that "release button" too deeply as you remove the crown and stem, and CRACK ... you've made another job for yourself .. fixing the keyless mechanism. That is why you need to depress it with the correct sized screw driver ... this prevents over-pressing and breakage.
Just one comment ... when you work on watches, try not to use "super glue". It gives off fumes which fog crystals permanently. Hypo Cement is what I see people using, mostly.
OH actually two comments. GREAT JOB!!
?? He's looking to buy the least expensive A21j PO .. it has none of the modern features of the super-replica. If $120 is all this man has to spend, then dont get his hopes up.
If you are serious about hosting this in perpetuity, don't use a shady host. Share it on Google Docs.
Like I have done with this handbook of clock and watch repair. .... https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1j2lHMALa7DNjRhOTE4ZWQtMWJiMy00ZGMxLTgwMWQtYzc0OWUzNmI1OTM1/edit?usp=sharing
Since I have Quattro, I don't need to hide my Summer ride .. I just have hardcore snow tires, and hardcore Summer tires. Good wishes to everyone pulling their AMG and M series out of the garage!!
As long as you are in the US, why limit yourself to your own area of the Country? The postal service has your watch, no matter who you ship it to. There's Vaccum and George, and TheKatt .. Some do AR some don't. some do 7750, some don't. They all do a good job. Oh yeah ... some do lume and some don't. MD2020 is the new kid on the block and I look forward to giving him a shot
Don't worry too much about the left-justfied dates. It's not your fault; the PureTime and cartel watches are all like that. A different dwo would fix it.
Your noobfactory DSSD (BK sells them) is a good looking watch. No one who knows what they are talking about ever said they are 1:1 .. maybe some fanboys with more enthusiasm than brains, perhaps.
If you bought the watch thinking it is a super replica, then I am sorry :/
The person who said that the gen DSSD has a straight pearl triangle is wrong, tho. It is simply less curved than Noobfactory. Not straight.
Also .. a watch is worth servicing if you love it .. not determined by it's visual accuracy. If you like it very much, then take care of it
When you have double AR coating, unfortunately you will get these damages. The coating is not hard, like the crystal, and it will mark up over time. When you can not longer accept the sight of these marks, buff off the coating, and you will have Single AR instead of double. If you love the watch, you can always have it re-coated on both sides.
5ATM is 170 feet, not 15 feet. There are 34 feet of depth per atmosphere.
A watch which passes at 3ATM can go past 100 feet of depth. Should you do this? NO don't dive to 100 feet wearing a replica watch as your diving gear.
If it passes 3ATM you are good to swim, no problem at all. Do not use this for serious diving. The depth numbers people have been quoting in this thread are from professional diving safety charts for watches. You can safely ignore all that crap. It's written by lawyers. It's not meant for you.
