This is called the "spring bar" and they are sold in many places. All you need is the proper length spring bar. this watch, yes?

The PureTime 1680 vintage Submariner comes on a good quality bracelet. It is a little sharp and needs the normal amount of smoothing. This is what I used. I believe they will sell them separately. You are absolutely right! That is why the community maintains a list of trusted watch technicians / watch makers. If you ask on the forum, maybe a member local to you already knows of a shop close-by that will help or you can always mail your watch to a trusted forum watchsmith.

If you spend a lot of money on a replica watch and want to wear it in the water, spend just a few more dollars to have it pressure checked. Why destroy a $400 watch over a $40 test? I sent my Tag 500M to Vaccum, and after he had verified all the gaskets it passed at 7ATM depth.

As a little background, I was inspired by member Ronin's rail dial 1665 Great White. It was a forum icon. He had sold it, and it was converted by it's new owner to a more vintage coffee colored dial. This event spurred me on to try and re-create Ronin's original watch in it's original white coloration.
