How long have you owned it? You have two choices ... have it serviced in the US at a trusted watch technician or send it back to China to be fixed there for free, plus postage. Keep in mind that mechanical watches need to be serviced every 3 to 5 years anyway, so it's something which we come to expect.

As someone else already has stated, the forum sees at least one questionable dealer come in here per week. That's the cause of the "paranoia" .. you're not paranoid when what you are "afraid of" actually happens all the time. What this web site is, is a community of people who are trying to find the most honest replica dealers, and help people looking to buy the reps to not be scammed. The forum doesn't sell anything, and it's always looking to expand the list of trustworthy dealers. The last addition was probably two years ago, with most of the dealers being onboard for five or more years.
