  1. I am not sure where Watcheden ships from, but I know from past Chinese shipments, packages can take a week before the tracking numbers shows as active. At that point it has usually passed through 2-3 scans and is inbound to the US. But that's my experience, YMMV.
  2. You should try PMing Admin or one of the other Moderators...
  3. You may want to talk to JMB. I think he can machine that knd of stuff. Although I may be wrong.
  4. Wow even Movado. I'm going to research this movement a little more.
  5. Wow, the el primero made appearances across many different brands. Interesting, very interesting.
  6. Hey Red - According to this http://gmtmasterhistory.com/gmt-master_ref_16710.html The 16710 had lugholes until 2003 with the Y series cases. - DB2
  7. I am curious about the movement. Is it the same as the el primero or just the same size/spacing?
  8. The A7750 movement is called an automatic movement. What that means is there is a weighted rotor inside the watch that swings around from centrifugal force, and that swinging winds the watch. This is common to the majority of mechanical watches (i.e. not battery powered watches), the other method for winding is via the crown on non-automatic watches. It is normal if these watches are not warn for a couple of days to stop working, until they are "wound" again - either by wearing the watch or winding the crown. The genuine watches operate in the same exact manner. Db2
  9. Is this not how the factories in China make our reps?
  10. +1 and welcome to the community, this forum is a wealth of knowledge! Good luck in your search!
  11. I am confused, is this a rep or a gen - if it's a rep - it's a SuperRep because that thing is dead on with the Gen. Must be from one of the new factories in Singapore...
  12. And by loose he doesn't mean floating around in the movement. Sometimes they are just not tightened down enough and can cause interference with the rotor.
  13. Depends on which Asian 7750. If it's the new high beat 28,800 boy movement, then no. They have different size hands than the Swiss 7750. But the older slow beat A7750 does have the Swiss sized hands.
  14. I just put a Clarks Superdome in my MBW 1665 and had the same issue as JMB. I just used a ring of Hypo and the base of the rehaut placed the crystal on it, but the compression ring was a little loose, so I put a touch of epoxy and 12, 3, 6 & 9 and glued the compression ring down. Anybody see any issues with this? I am sure I can still get everything apart if needed, just wanted to see what the opinions out there might be...seemed a little janky to me, but it did the job and it looks great!
  15. That pearl is horrid! JEESH! The date window makes it appear to be a 45mm...yuck overall
  16. Nice Oris. How big does it wear l, i guess I should say how tall does it wear. I think it's a pretty thick case, right? How about a competitive wristy....
  17. +1 on the papers part. No reason to get them unless you're trying to pass it off as a gen. But I disagree in the box part. I really like being able to store my reps and gens in a gen box (or rep box for that matter). It's just kinda nice.

I really like the panoramas - are you using the camera to help "stitch them together" or some other method?
  19. We had a little tumbler in San Diego yesterday too, 5.4, but not as impressive of movement as yours! WOW!
  20. Careful, he may suck your PO off your wrist! Great shot!
  21. @replcafan the Sea-Dweller does not have a maginfier. I believe it is the only Rolex model that doesn't. @Modelizer thanks! And yes, you should get one. It's about the same size as the 3717 on the wrist, just slightly smaller in diameter.
