  1. The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak is quite thin for a sports watch. Personally... It's one of my favorites! But not always to everyone's taste.
  2. Indeed... It was a great time- And a pleasure meeting you guys! But... Unfortunately, I didn't snap any pics.
  3. Maybe I need to liquidate the few that I have... All they're doing now is collecting dust!
  4. Nope. I measured one edge of the case to the other; excluded the crown at 26mm.
  5. All I can say is... With regards to the fine details... Things are begining to look very promising!
  6. Second that. BTW... These are the inserts he needs... If I had any to spare, I'd hook you up, but the ones in the pic above are all long gone...
  7. Nothing... bestswiss-watches.com is the same as Paul-Mart (Wo-Mart/Aspire/aBay, etc). http://www.bestswiss-watches.com/ It's all good...
  8. I despise auto insurance. One of the biggest scams out there in my opinion...
  9. I'll just post the contents here. The auctions that I linked to are all ended, so you'll need to use these as references on what to get: Start with this case set: Case Set. Use the movement from this watch: Valjoux 72. Use a dial like this: Dial. The dial is, of course a redial, as a genuine dial is going to cost a fortune. On the rare and sought after models like the 6239/6240/6241/6262/6263/6265 (standard and exotic's) the dial is 80% of the watch's value. So, the only economical way to do this is with a non-genuine dial. Once finished, you will have a very nice 6263! I hope this helps... Best regards, Randy
  10. Just as an FYI and clarification- The PM sent was just pointing these guys in the right direction to buy the parts to make a 6263 from eBay (not the 16520). Still interested?
  11. It's gorgeous! Very well done, and very unique!
  12. In my experience, the independent shops will work on reps, no problem. To them, a watch is a watch, and the money being paid for a gen or a rep is still money coming in. Since they're not selling the rep, they don't have much to worry about. Only problem is, they usually want the same amount to service a watch as a genuine equivalent (with the same ETA for example) would cost.
  13. PAM 250... Pretty straight forward. But, to use Mark's datewheels, you'll need the ETA 7753, and a new dial specifically for the 7753. I believe the 7753 date window is located in a different position than the Asian 7750's version (Swiss ETA has the date window centered between 4:00 and 5:00- Asian is slightly offset closer to 5:00), and the 7753 datewheel is not compatible with the Asian 7750 anyways...
  14. Typically, not difficult, though watches with complications, sub dials, etc will require more time and effort (naturally). So, ultimately, it depends on which watch... As it varies.
