Sad to hear the gen Rolex forum guys are dissing him. But TOTALLY expected. They really are a majority of utterly clueless d1cks with a few decent guys fighting to be heard.
Nice that he's gonna get some good $ out of it after not having a clue. Although having been a doctor for 50 odd years i'm sure he's not hard up! Not sure why people on forums are saying the watch has amazing history etc? OK, it's good that he's the original owner but as far as i can see it's a simple case of guy in Navy buys a diving watch, wears it to go diving and for general use over the years and is now selling it. Pretty boring and straight forward really.
Hopefully the new owners will get to buy the club, Hicks and Gillett will lose the court case this week, and NESV will kick out Hodgson and install a decent manager.
Hopefully.
Otherwise it's 9 points deduction, bye bye Torres, Reina and Gerrard in Jan and hello Championship next August.
928 all the way!
I love these cars, my favourite Porsche model i think. I've driven every Porsche road car model type apart from the 959, CGT and Panamera and there's always been something about the 928 that I love. Beautiful car, well ahead of it's time. Drive a 1970's 911 and then a 928 and it's a different world. Get a good one and keep it forever
What a bugger.
Guys, the seller pulled the sale himself, can we all report it to Ebay as a rep and he'll hopefully suffer from them too if they get enough reports the same and they may stop him relisting it. As it is at the moment he could just relist it whenever, Ebay haven't had anything to do with pulling it holding his account.
