i just spent 10 minutes Googling what that meant
Haha she's a racist fundy nutjob, imagine an Australian Sarah Palin, but nowhere near as hot, with a flame-red carrot top hairdo
Actually, why bother imagining, with Google, all can be revealed )

Swap strap around trick?
+1 in the words of Pauline Hanson; please explain?

Marina Militare base 44mm 1950. Ticks all the boxes, plus a custom strap. Search Jackson Tse or Getat on the forums, should be less than 100 US, a Swiss conversion should be about that again, so 200-250 all in for the head. To be honest though, i wouldn't bother with the swiss movement. A well-services A6497 would definitely see you through.
A nice strap would be another $100. 350 and you'll have a really sweet custom piece

Guys,
Is there one which doesn't dig into my wrist? If so, where can I get it? I don't really care how close to gen it is. Thanks!
Apparently the newer versions shipping with the latest 212/253 versions are the best quality straps + deployants, but the radius of curvature of the deployants is smaller than the older deployants. I know exactly what you mean though, a larger wrist is a bit flatter, and wearing a deployant all day really let's the ends dig in.

I happen to kinda like it... It's not any worse than these:
Now this is just weird...

What about:

Out of curiosity, why would you be waiting on Angus?...he only sell's what "the cartel" sell's when and if he can get hold of it. Has something changed of late?...
If a good Fiddy comes out,Josh will have it,then later Angus will...maybe...?
Not if the relationship with the factories that produced the new 359M continues. Angus certainly has the jump on the other dealers for the time being, they really must be selling like hot cakes...

It's hideous... So hideous that I considered picking up a version not dissimilar to this one, it had similar complications, I think it was missing the power reserve.

What a great piece, is this the V2 version? I believe PT has the OR deployant plus strap for $98, which is a little steep. Good luck with the search mate.

530 bucks for an Ocean Racer? Get the fk outta here, that's robbery. I think one of the US members could help you out, parts seem to be much cheaper there.

That is some hardcore modification. Great work!

Although it really cost me hands & legs but I'm very happy about this....NO REGRET!!
That's how you know it was worth it

Looks fantastic a little question, what diameter is your wrist Ray?

A heartfelt post. Angus, on what you are trying to do with the new Automatic PAM models, in particular with taking the feedback from the knowledgable forum members and working with the makers to bring us new goodies. For that alone, you should be commended. Looking forward to many insightful posts

How does one 'polish' the strap to such a high sheen? I have to say, aside from the doichebaggery, the croco strap he's rocking on the Bentley looks pretty good

Good to hear the situation was resolved

Yes did that many many time but I thought it would be nice to have one "overall" post for these watches as right now the info is quite dispersed. For those looking for some nice pics and starter info, here are some nice posts:

That's a pretty good idea actually, lots of watch and strap info, I remember a few good posts and will help you out
