No offense, you may or may not be new at all this, but sean dials are well known and there is nothing dishonest in his description.
For 65$ and 20$ shipping I wouldn't be making such a fuss and be trying to impeach a forum member. The dial is worth what you paid.
Sean's "superlumed" or anyones for that matter- rep parts....do not compare to what you would get with a genuine Rolex, Omega, or even Seiko.
One the first tools to buy in this hobby is a good quality spring bar tool, and not one of the cheapo's off ebay.
I bought several cheap ones, and broke them too..until I bought a good one. Ofrei offers either the Bergeon or the same unbranded a little less.
Get a few extra tip sets too. Use the straight pin end for lugholes, and the tiny fork for sel type bracelets. Your watch bracelet worries will be over

There was an eBay seller a couple years ago that had these same bracelets w same packaging, but for 200$
I may pick one if these up. Squinky is a well known seller on the gen forums.
I have two rivet's that are semi good. Both have correct endlink construction, are thin, no screws, have hollow/folded midlinks.
One, I have no idea where I got it, and the other came with a watch that I accidently ordered from the fake/clone site of Josh's.
My guess is they are like the yuki's, but I have no idea how to get another if I wanted one.
Rolexman's tip makes sense. I'm certainly guilty of not enough study. Imagine if I knew theory of the keyless, I would have less problems.
So far for me... Keyless 7, Me 1.
I read a story from a poster on TRF a couple years ago, he sent his Gmt in for service and got a different case set/serial when he picked up. Not a replaced service case....somebody else's case. His paperwork proved it.
I understand, I have the gen dial in black and gold and will do the black version someday.
Really expensive project. Look forward to seeing yours finished!
Insert looks good. No idea on other parts, are you using a gen movement.. and that's why the date wheel?
Have you decided on what bezel your going to buy?
Bad idea to remove bezel probably. Could get bent for your effort, and most likely will. Some of the modders out there have done it though.
You might ask Bonesy or Jmb depending on location. I have personally slightly bent one, and worse yet after straightning the bezel...got stuck frozen when I put it back on.
The insert is easy, heat the insert with a hair dryer or soldering iron, use an x-acto knife with fresh sharp blade to lift edge of insert up.
If you don't mind destroying the pearl, use a dental pick to pry the pearl out, then lift up from the hole where the pearl was.
Yeah I understand the attraction to the Stlllen unit.
I have a friend with a copper 350z and he's got a single turbo on his...540 HP.
Keep in mind although these blocks are rated for lots of power, you really need a spare block for when it blows...and they usually do after 10k of fun.
There's a really good Z forum my350z.com...thousands of members and everything you want to know about these cars.
