Hey S-dub, I remember when you joined RWG, and TRC before that. In fact, I remember you asking me to change the original name you registered with. You're member #212 here and in all that time you've never put a foot wrong. We're proud to have you around these parts. So stick around, big guy. Beers are on me next time you're in town.
Nice! Is this a service you'll offer on the board? I can see it now....... Curving to fit your wrist: < 6" $15 6"-7" $10 7"-8" $5 Over 8" Free of charge, sir. Additional services: Use a clear glass: $5 Use an unbroken glass: $3 Use boiling vodka to shape strap: *priced by availability of vodka* *lol* <---- no charge
HOLD THE PRESSES!!! I found a semi-helpful solution, if I delete the member entirely, the negative feedback goes away. The usefulness of this approach remains to be determined. Any volunteers?
I went into the super-secret Admin Lair and poked around, and couldn't find a way to fix the feedback. The Boss will have to show us the way on this one.
I remember that. It was a Saturday morning and I grabbed my phone before jumping out of bed and saw the sale notice. I was that close to PMing an "I'll take it!!" and saw you were interested too. I waited 5 minutes and it was yours. I still wake up in tears over that one.
I turned down a pristine 1675 in 1997 for $900 and regretted it, until my current 1675 came along. I picked it up for $1,800 about 5 years ago because of its Radial dial. The seller thought it was a fake and priced it accordingly.
Now that's taking one for the team.... posting up your number so we can text you with questions? "Hello, RWG Tech Support, how may I abuse you today?" PS: I apologize in advance for the anxiety you'll experience using Tapatalk in 3 ... 2 ... 1 .....
Yeah the Radial dial has a real neat vintage vibe, much like a 6542 with the small plots. To my eye it's a lot nicer than what followed, and will appreciate more because it's a little more rare.
That's a pretty one for sure. I picked up my radial dial for a song because the seller thought it was a fake. One thing your example is missing is the extremely rare radial-date function, where there are two concentric date disks to show the date in two different time zones.
cavi, thanks for pointing that out. I re-read my post and you're right, it can be misconstrued. Daniel and Legend both expressed dismay over the poor behavior of the two members that were banned. That's all. Daniel and Legend are members in exemplary good standing here, two of the finest. Absolutely impeccable reputations. SchildKing and Baleinedessables were the banned members. You won't have to watch out for them here anymore.
Daniel and Legend, yes I had the same thoughts: both have been around a long time and seemed like okay people. Banning is an ugly business and nobody here takes pleasure in it. It puts a sometimes global stain on a person's reputation and as I've told my kids, your reputation is perhaps your most valuable possession. It can take a lifetime to build up, and a moment to tear it down. And sometimes the damage is irreparable. A ban here happens after a lot of discussion, and a lot of evidence. It is no small thing. I'm very sorry it had to happen.
Welcome back big guy! Yeah prices have got to where you can get a reasonably good gen for not much more... less in some cases. I just paid $126 shipped for a like-new Orange Monster.
I put the MY 19 on my Frosty Flake with Phong case and it was fine until I smashed it against a rock in the Kobuk River. Then it broke a segment off the base where the ring was squeezing it.
