  1. How about this as a starting point for convolutions?
  2. I was researching a math problem this morning and came across this cool little animated GIF. This is the best visual explanation I've seen for a Fourier transform and the frequency distribution of the Dirac function.
  3. Pffffffffffffft, the dial is garbage. Send it to me for "disposal".

    I´m back

Tribal's in da house!! Welcome back old timer!
  5. Elves.... with attitude!
  6. Ohhhhhhh baby! Now you're teasing me.!
  7. I actually dented mine pretty badly using a press to seat a retaining ring. I got it sorta flat again but probably need to send it to you so you can use a brass squared off blank to press it REALLY flat again.
  8. Mister Wussy Thumbs! (neener neener neener)
  9. Roger that, I can dent the caseback on my gen 1675 with my thumb.
  10. One additional thing... the Sea-dweller is the king of Rolex dive watches from that era and the DR is the king of Sea-dwellers. So you're making a big statement when you wear one, and it may garner appropriate / unwanted scrutiny. A Red Sub is much less of a statement and you might feel more "comfortable" wearing it ... more carefree, for lack of a better word. Laissez-faire. Wear it like it's no big thang. That's a lot of fun.
  11. True, true ... instead of throttling him I'll strap him into the passenger seat and take him for a drive... see if I can make him scream like a little girl You guys ROCK. Have I said that already?
  12. Outstanding work, Legend! I know squat about APs but I know workmanship when I see it. Well done! AJ, it's bad enough that you have a gorgeous Aston in your stable. But if you have a big block Cobra too.... I'll have to fly over there and throttle you personally. And then take it for a drive!
  13. I doubt anyone could say it better. There are many among us that are generous, but AJ takes it to an art form. He gives of himself sacrificially and is the better man for having done so. Such giving is rarely acknowledged, and almost never returned. That's not why it is done. Irregardless how this plays out, he will continue his generosity and continue setting an example for us to follow. In the end, this is just money. Money is not "who" we are, it's "what" we have in our pocket. It shouldn't define us, and it's not a measuring stick. When we understand that, it puts life in perspective and the things that truly matter become obvious. It frees us to be better people. So, AJ ... I'm sorry that this happened. Next time you're in Alaska the dinner and drinks are on me. Thank you for being the fine example that you are.
  14. Run, don't walk, away from this deal. Rule #1 - Buy the Seller, not the Watch If he's being deceptive it's for a reason.
  15. Alright dammit, is Pete screwing up the works again?!!! What would you like your signature to be, fine sir? And no, I won't make it "Grand Exalted, Wise and Mysterious One, Bringer of Joy whilst being Hung Like Chuck Norris, with the Brains of Stephen Hawking" Although, come to think of it.... "Hung like Stephen Hawking With the Brains of Chuck Norris" might do..............
  16. Ahhhhh, look again ... that's not a Big Crown.
  17. Ah, good explanation and good reasoning. There was a 6538 on Fleabay last night that was "all gen" except for a dial that was poorly repainted and hands that were replaced, and an Athaya crown. But otherwise all original, priced at $43k plus.
  18. Very very very very nice! BUT....... man I hate to say this......... The 6536/1 had a 100m = 330ft depth rating.
