  1. It's one thing to purchase a rep, and know it's fake. No harm, no foul. We only pay a few hundred bucks. It's another thing to knowingly rip someone off thousands of dollars for something they think is genuine. Shouldn't that be obvious??
  2. There is no comparison really. The TC sub is probably the best available on this board at the moment. BK makes some nice mods to his as well. But you are going to shell out a lot more coin for either too. Just depends what you want and are willing to pay.
  3. Dang, the gen insert and crystal make that V6 just POP! There is just no way to rep the look of that pearl either.
  4. The noob V3 bracelet and clasp are supposed to be better than the later versions. I would see if the dealer is willing to swap it out. That V3 is getting hard to find.
  5. That's gorgeous! Looks like it was carved from a solid block of stainless.
  6. "I can not 100% guarantee this is a genuine Omega watch." Real sneaky this guy, putting that line at the bottom of the ad.
  7. Vac could easily replace that pearl no problem! But it's your call.
  8. Seriously man. Probably the owner from the looks of it.
  9. +1 Yah, those hedge fund guys are crazy ballers. Kind of reminds me of Pierce Brosnan in "Thomas Crown Affair", purposely tipping over his catamaran just to see what would happen. He was an M&A guy, but still made ridiculous money too. I bet the gentleman enjoys that pepsi bezel for a couple days, then shoves the watch in a drawer and moves on to the next one. . .
  10. I guess if you have money to burn, you would spend 32K on that antique bezel. It's one thing to spend thousands on high-quality reps, because you will enjoy them, and let's face it, friends and strangers will be impressed, even if they don't say anything. But the only person that is going to appreciate that historical bezel is a real watch enthusiast/historian, so again, if you have run out of things to buy, more power to you. Btw, if you are that kind of person, I have a gen, (NOT rep) Incan matrimonial headmask I will sell you for 500K. Will give you a 5% discount for being on the forum. . .
  11. Wow! Just wow! That is a thing of beauty! Congrats are in order I believe.
  12. 4 bills for that Avenger is pretty stiff, but again, you get what you pay for. You aren't going to get a really good one for much less, I doubt.
  13. I think he is sponsored by IWC. He hosted that gala in Switzerland last year when they launched the new Ingenieur line.
  14. Good luck with your new watch. Will be watching for your pics when you get 'em.
  15. That was just ridiculously amazing.
  16. I like those Invictas. I used to have a PO homage, but the 50mm case was a little too large for my wrist. But it had a nice Miyota movement and solid build.
  17. Awesome watch man! That polish job is superb.
  18. Very nice! If you happen to be blessed with impressive wrist density, why not?
  19. Well, I definitely have a LOT more shorts than reps at the moment. I don't think that will change in the foreseeable future haha!
