  1. Yah, I think I would rather spend the couple/few hundred dollars on the real deal from an AD, and not have to worry about the quality of the lens/UV protection. Here, you can get a great rep, and save yourself several thousands of dollars, but rep sunglasses?? I'll pass.
  2. Too right! Gonna check TT site to see what he has available. Btw, I see you are a fellow Paneristi! Have you been able to collect any pieces recently?
  3. My wife has been kind of depressed lately, and I wanted to get her something nice to cheer her up. (Her job is giving her a great deal of stress lately, but I appreciate her good attitude.) I know she loves those Stam bags that was the "It" bag back in the mid-2000's, but it has been discontinued. The gen bag goes for $1,395.00+, and I don't have that kind of coin regardless, but do any of you guys know of someone who might carry good reps for around 200-300? Much appreciated, V
  4. Like a lot of guys have already said, a gorgeous watch for sure, but 5 bills? Although I think I might be interested even close to 4. Just a stunning watch man!
  5. Very nice!
  6. Awesome looking watch bro! But man, no one is able to get close to the quality of a gen clasp/divers extension. Guess you gotta get the real bracelet, and plug it in, because those rep clasps are still just not up to par, sad to say.
  7. Congrats man! Looks like a great piece you picked up. I want to get one too, but so many choices!
  8. +1 Small watches have been out for awhile, Omega or no.
  9. Very cool! I'm planning on adding a Sub to my collection pretty soon. I love my DSSD, but it is a tad clunky on my wrist. I bought a cheap sub in NYC a few years back, but nothing like the quality you can get now.
  10. Bro, not being rude or anything, but you can get that info by just doing little digging in the forum.
  11. I will chime in with all the others. Your work is seriously seriously killer. I just picked up a new 111 myself, and though I am quite pleased with the quality overall, there are a few mods that would make it killer, along with a good cleaning/regulating.
  12. That is a very very nice piece. I've got a lot of work to do on my collection before I can start posting pics.
  13. That is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Quick question, are the letters on the movement printed on, or engraved? The reason I'm asking, I just purchased a PAM 111 myself, and can't really tell if they are engraved or not. Would it be possible to post a pic or two of the blue letters close up enough to see the details? Also, is there someone you can recommend who could do the engraving, (if I need it) and also installing an incablok shock absorber? Thanks!
  14. I have an Invicta PO homage, and it's a great quality watch, but I only paid 200 USD for it. For 800+ dollars, you might as well spend a little more, and get a good pre-owned gen swiss watch. Heck, I could go to downtown LA today, and pick up a brand new 2010 Aquaracer 300M quartz for a grand.
  15. Well, I don't think I would wear it to the office, but I would definitely feel safer wearing it in the woods. Kill a grizzly just whacking it on the head with that thing.
  16. I have a buddy who wants to sell me his gen WAB2010 300M diver watch. Has some scratches, but pretty good shape overall for $700.00 Thing is, I had my eye on the new 500M Aquaracer rep, and I just don't like the flimsiness of the clasp on the old 300M. The 500M seems much more solid. Is the gen WAB2010 worth that much pre-owned? It retailed for approx. 1500 USD new.
  17. Wow! Now that's a tool watch for ya! What caliber bullets does it fire?
  18. Btw, just another brief comment on this thread. I spoke with a couple of AD's while on vacation this past week, and both mentioned that there have been people who have bought gen PO's, and had issues with the mushroom clasp attachment after two or three years. That's why all things being equal, I think I prefer the classic flip-lock oyster bracelet and clasp on a SS bracelet. (i.e., Rolex) However, the best bracelet and clasp I have ever seen is on the Seiko Marinemaster. That is about as bulletproof as it gets. Anyways, other than that, I really love the PO, and plan to get a rep soon here.
  19. I was on vacation this past week, and stopped by a Rolex AD to check out the DSSD, since I have the rep. Gotta say, my rep looks pretty good, but the bracelet and clasp on the gen is light years higher in quality. The clasp locks and clicks into place with perfect precision. Then again, we are talking about a gen that retails for 10K, compared to my 200 dollar rep.
  20. Very nice UPO. Are you planning on any mods for this one?
  21. That is a beaut for sure, but glad I read this thread. Will have to pass and stick with the 500M in SS.
  22. Jkay, Btw, your avatar just cracks me up man. I guess after a few thousand guys PMing you that the "sky is falling", you came up with that. Hilarious. Also, what does CONUS stand for? I have seen that quite often, and assume it is a euro designation of some sort.
  23. I really like my new DSSD I picked up a couple days ago. The all-around quality is better than the sub I got last year. Will have to see what mods BK could do for me.
  24. Thanks Krpster! Was afraid of that, but good answer. Guess if I want the gen clasp, just have to mod that with the two connecting links to the rep bracelet, and be happy with that. Thanks again! VV
