I got it from http://www.timefactors.com/. Lot of members recommend it, so I gave it a try. I got one also from http://www.watchworx.co.uk/ but it is not such good quality. BTW, 20mm straps really look ugly on this watch - don't try it, go for 22mm if you can't get 21mm. regards

Great pics, polarizers are really must-have if you want to shoot watches. I must get myself one, but good ones are really expensive ... what brand did you get ? regards

So, after wearing it on SS for a few weeks, I decided to try some other choices. And I must say 3717 definitely looks better on leather (and NATO) than on SS. The leather strap on pictures is the one I received with new deployant some of our dealers are selling (I got it from Angus). I took 22mm one, and it was really easy to fit, despite 21mm lug width. BTW, deployant is completely useless for small wrist, because of its construction. To be able to use it I need extra short strap - I measured that part of strap that is attached to deployant should be 55mm at max for me to be able to wear it. Other than that, deployant is quite nice. Strap that you get with it complete rubish, it started felling apart after wearing it maybe 5 times Now I'm "negotiating" my new pilot leather strap with HKTan, since he can do it any size I want - so that is where my deployant will probably go ... NATO is 22mm from Timefactors - really great and quality, soft thick material. Highly recommended ! So, here are the pictures: -- regards

So, pearl on my Noobmariner bezel decided to bail out It just popped out, leaving empty hole on bezel insert. Is there any way of buying/making pearl, so I don't have to remove entire insert - since I epoxied it few weeks ago. regards
-
Thank you @NRG, this is very helpful. Exactly my point, this way of regulating does not help, because it have no effect I guess I'm brave and foolish enough to give that other method a try regards
-
Thank you all for trying to help, but I must point out two things: 1. I've had this watch for a month now, and it is slow 30 secs a day since - I have been wearing it for most of last month (until pearl decided to bail out, but that is another story ). After seeing review of this movement (I hope it is this movement) by The Zigmeister I decided to keep it, hoping it really is not broken ... 2. I've tried to turn this screw, at first very little, and then a bit more, but it didn't change accuracy a bit - it stays very persistent in being 30 secs a day slow - that is what worries me. regards

So, I recently got myself sub with this new 28800bph-super-ETA-2824-copy-2813-whatever movement. It is running 30 sec a day slow. Dealer offered me to send it back, but I really hoped I will be able to regulate it and refused on his offer This is the pic of the movement and screw I tried to turn to regulate it, but with no effect: I turned this screw at least 30 degrees toward + sign, but it had no effect on accuracy. So, what is this movement really, and can it be regulated - e.g. has someone succeeded doing it ? Does anyone know who manufactures this movement and what model is it - CousinsUK have large number of Chinese movements for sale, so maybe I can swap it if it's not very expensive ... regards

So, I want to buy few spring-bars from CousinsUK, and I have one question - when it is stated, e.g. "Two Telescopic Non Swiss Spring Bar

Why should "insert" on this watch rotate with bezel itself ? Based on seeing it in pictures, I would say that insert is fixed, and bezel is rotating. And that would make perfect sense to me ... but that's just me regards

So, this one is done by myself. I did it three weeks ago, but just now I got some spare time to write about that I've had one swiss 7750 lying around for some time, thinking what to do with it. Sending one of my 7750 watches to The Zigmeister was too risky for me, and I still don't feel ready to do hand tube swaps But then came across 3717, which I really didn't like in the beginning, but it started to grow on me. Then I realized that some dealers are selling it with old A7750, which is more than fortunate in this situation, so I started looking for a good deal. And I found it, and few weeks later I was there - ready to go with my first full blown mod. First challenge was to remove bracelet. The damn thing is really stuck in there, there was not a micron of space between endlink and lugs, it took me almost an hour to get it off. You can see what the endlinks looked like when I got them out: So this is where I started: ... and this what I prepared for this operation: First step was to change day and date wheels on swiss7750 with black ones. One down, one to go: Although it seemed tricky how to insert daywheel, it was really easy - just put it there and turn it, lever goes into position by itself: Then, old movement was ejected, and it looked and felt really ugly So, dial put onto new movement: ... and ready for the scary part - fitting of hands - these were my tools (and I must say I LOVE Rodico !!): ... and after surprisingly short time (much shorter than it took me to remove a bracelet) - we have hands New movement safely fastened in case (there were no screws before, just anti mag cover was holding the movement): And - taaa daaa - my new favorite rep: ... one family photo I must say Swiss 7750 really feels and performs really great, much better than new A7750. No slipping hands problem, smooth chrono, much softer pushers (although start/stop is not really soft). So, thanks for reading, maybe I will post some more pics soon. bye

Yes, I would agree that sunlight is the best "charge" for lume. I don't (still) have any reps superlumed, but I have orange Seiko Monster, and when I come indoors from bright sun (and it is bright here in this time of year) it shines like blowtorch, even in well lit rooms regards

I got mine from www.watch-tool.de regards

7750 ? It somewhere near 3 & 33, but I can't be sure cos I don't one here with me regards

Yup, there is very nice discussion on that subject on timezone - http://www.timezone.com/library/comarticle...681571896618891. So, as much as I would like to be able to say that 3717 have plain and simple ETA 7750 - since I just upgraded my rep 3717 with swiss 7750 - it's just not truth. Also, last time I checked IWC DOES have a lot of in-house movements, and really nice ones I might add. So nothing is black-and-white. regards

Non-chrono aquatimer next .... pleeeease
-
It's a "feature" of the movement, not related to TAG. Even Swiss 7750 is not much better in that aspect. I was to TAG AD once and tried on Carrera Chrono - Start/Stop button was equally hard to press like on my rep with A7750. regards

Looking for a good soul who will PM me with the source for this beauties regards

Yes, yes ... we want 3548, we want 3548 !!!!! :victory: If it does not happen soon I'll have to start saving for gen regards
-
Thats right, but problems begin when moving running seconds, because it puts most strain on the movement. As long as running seconds stay at nine everything was fine ... only time will tell are these any better than 7750 with sec-at-6 regards

Yes, that thing on his hand was huuuge ... and in gold too, amazing Too bad RM is next to impossible to rep ... and they are so darn expensive regards

OK, so I got my first rollie, noobmariner, and I of course I wanted to open it but my case opening tool (jaxa style) does not work - although it has pins that are supposed to open oyster cases... So I'm thinking about buying that tool that is made specifically for opening rollies. So, since I'm not really big rolex fan, and apart from sub, I might get SD and YM at some time - what is my least expensive option ? In most stores I saw complete sets with 6 or more dies, going for 30

Yup, if they ever make regular (non-chrono) Aquatimer up this quality standards, I'll be first in line for that one ... even if priced similar to SFSO. Cousteau is not really that tempting to me regards

No screw-down crown, neither rep nor gen You can check on Tag Heuer web site ... regards
