If you can manage your expectations well, the recent reps are actually very well-made, if you are willing to overlook certain minute flaws which would not realistically be picked up in real life in the wild. Take your pick from the ARF makers for the Rolex and it is hard to go wrong (comparing rep to rep). You might want to check out the VRF makers too. They seem to be doing equally impressive work in the rep Rolex arena.

I am keen on purchasing this, but I am not expert on Rolex models, and will like to seek your expert opinions before taking the plunge, thank you kindly. @occb2 @sacsah1 @folex

The green color of the bezel insert is still not 100% and the date font and crystal/cyclops could be tells. Also for certain reps you get poor SEL fitment, misaligned markers but these could be corrected etc

You are one of the top Rolex gurus in our rep communities, not just RWI @occb2, and of course, your knowledge, sharp eyes (despite you not agreeing), expertise and experience are always welcome here sir. I forgot who it was that said it in another thread, but the different forums are like different pubs in the same village and that is so true. RWI could be temporarily down, but no hacker can stop the exchange of knowledge, friendships and watches from carrying on. Thank you for sharing your insights and expertise, and your moderator status at RWI is well deserved and long overdue.

The case is good yes. But the date font definitely isn’t! All the Patek Nautilus reps are flawed one way or another and it’s a matter of what the prospect owner can live with and what he cannot. I do agree that the PF version is good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
