  1. If you like it, that's all that counts. I personally think there too many flaws for a modded 111h at that price. Good that DSN made good with you.
  2. Wearing the big boy today. He's been lonely on my dresser since I got my modded 111h. I'm going to get a Zig relume on this and then it will be part of the regular rotation. Picking up some Metalset A4 to attach a new marker today.
  3. If you like the watch, that is all that counts. The 203 is a limited edition watch that sells for around 100k if you can find one. I certainly couldn't pull off that watch. I have owned about 15 pams in the last 3+ years. I've liked them all. My faves and current watches are a fully modded 111h and a 187. 47mm is pretty large. I can pull it off, but I'm a pretty big guy with meat hooks for arms/hands. Check it out.
  4. 04A is my fave of the bunch. Great collection.
  5. This watch has only left my wrist for about an hour in the past week (and that was during the frequent strap changes. I've got new screws on the way because they are almost useless. BTW-The sting ray strap is the thickest I've ever seen. 6.5mm at the lug and 5mm at the buckle. Love it. I'll never sell it.
  6. I owned a gen SMP chrono. Great watch, but difficult to button under a cuff. I got rid of it. The rep looks very good.

Great watch for the $$$. Sapphire crystal w AR and lume job and you've got a winner. That crown and crown guard look VERY good.
  8. You get what you pay for in winders. The sub $100 winders are [censored] for the most part. Very cheaply made, lousy materials etc.
  9. I'll play. This one isn't going to leave my wrist for a while. I thought 47 was the new 44, but I was misinformed. The 187 will have to sit on my dresser for a while.
  10. Just got this get up yesterday. Primo swiss movement that has been serviced by The Zigmeister, cannon pin fix, relume, AR crystal, Palp crown, awesome crown guard. This watch rocks!!
  11. Sporty and large. My collection consists of the following: Pam 187 Pam 111h B&R 42mm pvd Breitling SFSO I've probably owned 25 reps in the last 3+ years and I've never owned a Rollie (too small and too many fakes out there). Never owned a true dress watch either. It simply wouldn't get any wrist time. I'm 5'10" 230. Muscular and have big bones. Under 42mm simply doesn't work for me. My gen SMP was even on the small size. I would consider a Frank Muller Conq King if it ever got made. Dressy, sporty, and large.
  12. Wearing this until I get home. Then I'll be wearing the baddest modded 111h on the planet from Star.
  13. Classic or not, I really like it. I still can't believe anyone can pull off the 46mm version. The 42 is HUGE.
  14. This will be on my wrist for a while (that is until I receive my grail watch on Tuesday). I'm done with reps for a while after I receive Star's fully modded 111h. This one is a doozy!!!
  15. Got my replacement from Angus yesterday. I love this watch. So well put together. Smooth sweeping hand, great AR, clean dial and case. I don't know why people think the PVD looks bad. I think it's great! Take a look.
  16. Aloha. The PVD is nice, but the rest are fantasy watches (aka-not great reps) You could find worse.
  17. I am tempted as well as it looks like a very good bang for the buck. @Estaban, could you please tell a but more about the lume which is inaccurate? To my knowledge, the dial and the hands should both have a light blue lume. The rep has blue dial with green hands (or visa versa). I sent it back because it was "limited edition". Hopefully it will arrive Fri or Sat. @Deltatahoe... does Angus have a stainless steel verion 42mm with date and without 'limited edition' ? I'm pretty sure he does. I still can't believe how big this watch wears. I almost bought a gen 46mm on timezone without trying it on. Good thing I didn't. It would have looked silly on my wrist and I ususally wear a 47mm Pam 187!
  18. I think it wears larger than the Santos 100. That was my first rep BTW. LONG gone, but very nice. I can't pull off dress watches, even sporty dress watches. I think you'll like it!
  19. I received my PVD white marker version from Angus. Very nice watch. Dial was printed wrong (Limited Edition). Sent it back immediately. Should have my new one by Friday or Saturday. Impressions Heavy and well made Nice rubber and velcro strap Good AR Cool lume (two color which in not accurate), but short lasting I think this watch wears just as large as my 187. I can't believe that anyone could wear the 46mm version. I guess that's why it's worn over a flight jacket. I'll post pics when I get it. I might get the SS version too!
  20. No problems for me with exotic. I've probably owned 20 different ones. Here's a complete list to the best of my recollection: elephant, kudu, python, tree snake, lizard, sting ray, gator, croc, ostrich, beaver tail, buffalo, seal and of course shark. My favorite is a custom made sting ray in grey with white pearls. I would like to get an ostrich shin/leg. Very cool pattern. ABP would never sell anything that was taken by poachers.
  21. Very cool look. I'm not ususally a PVD fan, but this works for me. Well done!
  22. My asian SFSO went swimming almost every day this summer. Crown stem is very long, which might have something to do with it. I greased the gasket upon arrival and tightened the caseback. What a deal for $130.
  23. I like the strap. A little stiffer than a Pam rubber strap, but well made. The best rubber strap out there is the new version for Pam subs. Has just the right amount of give but isn't rubbery. Not sure about the dust thing
  24. Looks great. Mine should arrive from Angus in the next couple of days. I ordered both the nylon and rubber straps. Lume???? AR????
  25. I swam all summer with my asian steelfish. The crown and stem are so long and it seals very well. I wouldn't do the AD thing with mine--No AR, but I would with a swiss version. I wouldn't take it off for inspection though.
