  1. impressive quality, not a big fan of the model but it looks top notch
  2. I have the same bad feeling. I'll wait some weeks more, I want to read some reviews first
  3. Thanks Gran, it's true 40-41mm is the best watch diameter for my wrist. I look like a fool wearing a 45mm watch
  4. Very true, Garda Lake is somehow more interesting overall. For the food ...it's me...I am picky, someone here would describe me as "never satisfied". Coming from a central italian region (Emilia Romagna) doesn't help...at all.
  5. Yesss Varenna from Castello di Vezio Argh... bad timing to post my picture, you still have the beauty of the landscapes very clear in mind Very nice place where to spend 3-4 days, I have to say I was a little bored at the end. I am not a big fan of trekking, I like better the seaside beaches in South Italy (cheaper, finer food...by the way) but Como lake is wonderful.
  6. Holy sh... congrats mate!! I was uploading a new pic ... I thought the first one wasn't enough..
  7. Where are you located? If in Eu you can ask Rolexman, Wiz or Domi. http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/283-rolexman-repair-care/ In CONUS, MD2020 or Vac. http://www.rwgforum.net/user/49382-md2020/ http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/221-vacs-modification-shop/
  8. They say so, it's the new Ingy but it's not going to be a short term release, the maker just picked up the gen watch so they haven't started working on it yet
  9. Yes, you might be right actually, I hope so because the stripping crown is such a common flaw and it would be a pain in the neck to ship the watch to someone able to fix it. Once again, we are talking about a watch priced as a super rep and mine are just speculations, I don't know if the new SMP is affected by the "weak crown and tube" disease, but if I know the rep market enough...this is very likely to happen.
  10. Good to hear that buddy, I didn't know some parts were interchangable with the old SMP. Do we know for a fact?
  11. The IWC will be much better hopefully No, jokes aside, it's a matter of personal tastes too, I am not crazy for this Seamaster, but it's one of the few watches in the 40-42mm range with a reasonable thickness (the CrPO is way too thick for my wrist). I would buy it if it was priced accordingly to the accuracy: imho, pearl is terrible, bracelets are a let down in almost all Omega reps and for me is a deal breaker. Besides, I don't like the idea I cannot go franken at all (no idea but I fear also a simple tube and crown is impossible to source), most omega reps have weak tubes and crowns. I am aware I am unrealistic considering the late trend in rep pricing but still, I would pay 250USD, tops.
  12. At that price...I'll just pass waiting for better reps (IWC maybe.. ).
  13. Taka Ar was indeed great but he wasn't considered that reliable one year ago. Happy to hear he is back on rails
  14. Great watch, I love my Spitfire Mark XVI...the last mod I need is a brand new AR coating but yours seems to have a nice blue hue
  15. It's 2 mm larger
  16. Exactly my thought. :-) The datewheel is truly impressive, well done!
  17. Hey buddy, how's it going? you know very well it's thank to you if I got the bracelet.
  18. Impressive collection Sixx...almost impossible to choose a favourite in that group
