I can let cc33 speak for himself - although I know all the details.
As for my 5513, its a gen '67 case, gen meters-first matte dial with gen hands, gen bezel, gen ghost insert, gen T19 superdome, gen 700 tube/crown, gen cal 1520 movement, gen 7206 rivet bracelet with gen 58 endlinks.
The new hands are shorter. The minute hand no longer touches the chapter ring. I believe the sweep hand is the same though. Still the best aftermarket 6538 hands out there, but a shame that he no longer uses the same supplier/design
The Olloclip is excellent value compared to some other alternatives. But I find holding a 10x triplet loupe against the iPhone lens and zooming in marginally almost as good. But very nice pickup dtm. The Olloclip is a lot of fun
Almost all my pics are with my iPhone 6+. For macros, I may use my olloclio, but usually too lazy to take the phone out of its case, so I simply hold a 10x loupe and press it firmly against the case and zoom in just enuff to crop out the visible area of the loupe. But you are right, good lighting is key in any photography.

Walked in here at lunch:
Walked out 30 minutes later with these:
I really wanted the cloth-bound Patek catalog, but they only had one copy.... Maybe next year.

Since RWG was down all weekend, managed to work on the 6538 on Sunday.
Replaced the newer CWP with older ones that I acquired recently. They slightly more period correct with the longer minute hand that now touches the chapter ring.
The hour hand is abut loose and I will have to get it repaired/rebroached this week.
The bevels were marginally recut on the case and I installed a gen 6636 expanding rivet bracelet. When I bought it, the clasp was an incorrect USA C&I clasp. I was thinking of sending it to Michael Young to swap in the correct Swiss Gay Freres 6636/7206 clasp, but decided to tackle the surgery myself. The patient survived the transplant I'm happy to report.
