  1. Thanks Cats! Yeah the shells are still alive I've less time to post in our community but I still like watches. What is cool, or not, is that after having tried replications and gens of various models, I know which I love, like and dislike. The Explorer II is nice but not on top of my list. And the Noob is soooo close to a gen, that I'm more than happy with a replication. In the end, I got many gens (not all at the same time) and I would recommend to have the gens of models one want really to wear very often. For the rest, good replications are fine enough and most of the time so close to their gen counter part I don't see the reason not to have them handy. Unless, of course, if the budget allows to have only gens, which is not that bad at the end of the day! All the best Stephane
  2. As usual, some fantastic watches here ! I'm very happy with my last purchase. A Noob (odl school) Explo with a gen crown (mandatory) and gen crystal. Missing a gen dial, which I will hunt for, and it will be almost a good as my previous gen 16570 sold a long time ago now
  3. Well, what can I say. Me too I had bad feeling in the past about some stuff posted here So no worries! PS: to to find 1) a gen dial for the explo 2) find the time to make a review of it (again!)
  4. Bobby, I know both of you and I'm sure BT didn't mean anything bad. What he's refering to is probably one of the previous long term member's double face who now that he has gens consider us/reps like shit... And there are certainly some people who forgot about this community. You not. You still post and educate others with your experiences. And I must say that we certainly all agree that if we got enough money to buy all the watches we trully like as gens we would go for it. But, in my case in example, it's hard to keep a 16610, 1680, 16800, 1665, 16710, 16570, JLC Master Control, JLC Polaris in the box as that is quite a huge amount of money. That is why knowledge is here. Not only because of the crown position Because watches like the last one I got from you are so close to gens at a fraction of the price that we are happy to collect them all with a smaller budget. The gen I owned but at to sell to fund a prefered gen The rep I got from you All the best Stephane

The question of letting you spread bad vibes in our (OUR) home is not even a debate among the team. We will not tolerate it. You don't like this place, leave. You want to stay, respect us and the members. Cheers Stephane
  11. Set invisible for now. Such a young and fresh member is not allowed to sell 3 genuine watches right away. If he wants to do this, he will have to contact the admin team. Thanks for reporting !

  17. Hi Kurt. Life sucks indeed but only from time to time. Health and money is like almost everything else in life: cycles. I wish the next good one will happen for you and yours a.s.a.p. In the meantime, I'm pretty sure there is a bunch of fellows here who would like to help. If there is anything we can do, let us know please. All the best, Stephane
