Wow, you would me a favor to get yourself a Polaris! It would be a bit like if I got one myself Price in second hand, not sure though but in your budget, with a bit of search and patience, I'm pretty sure it must be possible.

Speechless by the fabulous gift of my RWG friends i got today
Stephane replied to Cats's topic in General Discussion
Well, friends, even distant, are the best medicine down here. Some of us met you, some not, but many wanted to send you more than just best wishes. I will certainly not pretend I know what YOU are fighting. But being the other half of a wonderfull woman who just finished the Radio Therapy herself, I have a much better picture of what it means than when you and I sit talking about cancer at our first GTG waiting for everyone to arrive. No need to say how much I am impressed by the force you guys can show. The watch is awesome, the watchmaker isn't as awesome , but he made a great job and is a fantastic human So are you Cats. I keep my finger crossed and am certain that you and your familly will find the strenght and patience to go through all this, once again. Hoping for the last time! All the best from us here in Brussels, Warmest regards Stephane -
I've always wanted a Reverso for myself and never choose it even after many tries in various configurations, it doesn't fit my wrist at all. Squadra included. They look weird on me. So, I bought one for my better half's 50th birthday because I needed to have one in house. They are stunning, but just not for me. My JLC is a simple Master Control. Not the new one, this one: Before you go for a Reverso (Grand Date is perfect of course and was my initial wish), check the Master Control Home Time or, but very expensive, Polaris Good luck with the choice! I would stay with JLC though...every watch lover should have one of these because of all the reasons you mentionned and because the regular ones are affordable on the second hand market!

A Pictorial Review - Rolex Explorer 214270
Stephane replied to justlounging's topic in The Rolex Area
Great review indeed! Thanks for taking the time to publish it. -
Ah, well, GTGs should be better in the future Frank. The last one was indeed smaller: Modelizer, Andy, a couple of friends...but Berlin was super and the evening too. In 2012 we won't be asking the membership where they want to go! We'll go to Malmö So, unless Modelizer change his mind, which I doubt, you can already note Malmö in your agenda as the next EU "official" GTG I will attend for sure, whenever it is.

I was thinking the exact same thing! I sourced a Rail Dial and I am missing good matching hands... So, I started a mini review of my new great white. But, now, I think I will have to source a better crown, a better case, a better date wheel... Well, better everything except the 2846 movement which is running like a quartz watch! To be as original as every one else Ubi: I can't wait to see the baby finished
