DSC08329 by Micky Aldridge, on Flickr Its a GMT Planet Ocean 45.5mm Can anyone help, specifically part numbers from cousins would be ideal.?

Should you service an asian 2836-2? NO! A swiss, YES!

The V2 3135 which is a Yuki, aka SH3135 should be fine to service, the V1 however I highly suspect not so much. -

I can also echo what MMM states, there is no comparison between Swiss, the Asian parts are so ill finished, and the so called jewels/rubies used in these Asian movements are inferior to those used in Swiss movements, I have even experienced these jewels almost melting in my Swiss cleaning agents when put through my four stage parts cleaner/drier. -
110% my thinking too.

Did you buy this watch knowing the was an issue mate, or found out about it when you got it? Reason I ask is I have had a few in with this issue, and its related to the feet of the OMEGA emblem (x2) being off centre, and not lining up with the holes in the dial, so the rep factories in many cases are bodging it, or in some cases file off the one foot, and adhere the emblem directly on the dial.

You could try Zocker. http://www.hqwatches.de/index.php/en/recent/38-iwc3717-01-build

I do plan on doing just that as well as documenting some jobs that I carry out for customers, the trouble is, finding the time to do this, as I am very very busy, I have a blog which I struggle to find time to post on, but I must make time to share more for sure.

Mine finally arrived, thank you so much for your efforts in helping everyone purchase these, I will be back as Arnie would say.

Firstly, you shouldn't of paid the premium asked for a Swiss movement because its highly unlikely you will have a Swiss factory fresh movement fitted, you will more than likely have a used, old Swiss movement with Asian parts.

Aha, good to know @TickleShoes Is that red movement holder a Horotec 09-010-25? Been looking for a 3135 movement holder, and can only find this one, it states for a 3035 Rolex movement?
-
Thanks for that, appreciated, I see you have Crown & Skull Watchworks in your signature, are you affiliated with them at all?

This is great, and opened the doors much further than before now when coming to convert your Rolex reps with genuine parts
