My favourite TD for parts is WatchFinder, not a TD on here though.
For watches, you can't beat Trevor on prices, same watches as all other TD's but cheaper. Also not a TD here sadly.
Toro is great, so too is Chazingtime, Ken. The latter not a TD here.
Most new members, or new people to the rep world order from Andrew at TrustyTime, more expensive but for a first timer peace of mind, he suits the bill.
Glad to be back, I was getting withdrawal symptoms, what was the problem guys? Not hacked I hope?
I did email AJ, and he assured me you guys were on there case as I was unable to access the forums for a couple of days.
Now we are back up and running, I did get a warning that the site is insecure, I use 1password to manage all my passwords, and it was this that issued me with the warning, advising me not to sign into this site?
Welcome to the forums, if you haven't the tools, or experience, then source a rep friendly watch repair place as the minute hand may need its tube broaching for a more secure fit.
Agree, one should not really use the chronograph on an A7750, not regular anyway as they are build to look like the real thing, but not work with precise machined high quality parts such as an ETA movement, and as such, failings of components are likely.
Another option would be to freeze the minute hand.
Quite a common problem with these modified A7750 movements where the minute counter is transferred from its native @12 position to @3. Sadly, there's not much can be done due to the play in the gear teeth. Sometimes replacing the minute gear/pinion with an earlier one will help, but ideally you need a new gear cut with more precise teeth that mesh with the other gear, and not flop/be loose.
