  1. Your not wrong there, having a real hard time finding a stem for one, all I know is it accepts genuine hands, dial, and date wheel, but obviously not a genuine stem.
  2. They look identical to the Seagull 2351 stem. Does anyone know if these Yuki movements are the same as the ones Angus at Puretime is now selling? The movement from Angus accepts genuine hands, dial, and date wheel too. I have one but having trouble locating a stem for it. I have already tried genuine Rolex 3135 stem, and aftermarket thanks to misiekped but sadly they don't fit.
  3. You have come a long way mate I need one of these tools, and for what it is, and does, its damn expensive for what it is, so looked for an alternative, and found a clone of one for €55 euros delivered
  4. https://www.cousinsuk.com/catalog/tools/automatic-rotor-weight-bolt-removing-and-fitting-tools/oscillating-rotor-weight-lock-release-tool-multi-collet-horotec#select How to replace rotor bearing on an automatic watch. Valjoux ...
  5. Scum of the earth, what a prat. Feel sorry for the seller.
  6. M3 .35 I use to tap a thread to fit a TC tube into another case. Its M3 .25 I have to tap the TC case for gen tube.
  7. Depends on the sub maker. For example, a TC Submariner case won't accept a genuine tube, and needs to be tapped M3 .25 http://www.thorlabs.de/thorproduct.cfm?partnumber=99946
  8. Ideally the watch would need putting on a timegrapher to check the six to eight positions to find out more really. Could be a number of things.
  9. Depending on your location, there are rep friendly watchmakers in EU, AUS, and Stateside.
  10. You need to find a rep friendly watchmaker to put it right for you
  11. I have come across a few of these where the dial has come loose from the movement, and this causes the hand sec@9 to drag the dial face, and stop. If the hack is no longer working, and you didn't remove the stem/crown, then the balance maybe loose, which would result in the brake for the hacking out of alignment.
  12. I have fitted plenty of ETA date wheels on the TC2824 no problem, its a straight swap. You have obviously not fitted it correctly by the sounds of things. Another reason for ill-fitting could be that some of the teeth on your ETA date wheel are out of alignment.
  13. Mind sharing who you went with ? from UK Watch Services is UK based.
  14. Anyone find out what model number this movement is? I have one I need a stem for.
  15. Got your pm Look forward to hearing from you.
  16. It is, but the OP said the bezel assembly has come off complete revealing the crystal gasket.
  17. If you have removed the TC bezel assembly then I'm afraid you will now need to carefully align the crystal, insert, AND bezel ring so the click is spot on, ALL whilst using a press to press the assembly back on, but not before ensuring the o-ring on the underside of the assembly is in its channel. Just hope you haven't kinked, or bent the bezel assembly, because if you have, you will not only lose water resistance due to using a gasket twice but also have a wonky, loose bezel which may not rotate as it should.
