  1. Agree with whats said, its an old gen crown. Surprised by the flat gasket in it though.
  2. Photos of it would help, a photo of the Coronet, and the innards.
  3. I was wondering the same, he has loads of great reference threads next door too.
  4. Does your movement have dial feel hook clamps, or dial feet screw clamps? If the latter, an ETA stem won't fit the Z2 POS movement. aka 2813 POS high beat.
  5. Rep, date wheel is left justified, plus cyclops looks off. Also looks like the rounded TC Vintage Insert too, but maybe the lighting.
  6. Sometimes its just a matter of seating the seconds hand onto its pinion more.
  7. If this is the BB Tudor rep, I have had a few in for repair due to the movements stopping, and they all turned out to be the seconds hand touching the underside of the crystal.
  8. The water you were snorkelling in, was if fresh water, or salt water? If the latter, then you will need to get the watch serviced, if fresh water, you maybe lucky with the uncooked rice, or silica packs option.
  9. Surprised he's not banned on here already!
  10. So many super reps, and so many different tastes we all have, so impossible question to answer.
  11. If its waterproof, simply rinse under a warm water tap, soap, and use an old toothbrush.
  12. Congrats! I have a tube to fit to a case that has a hole much bigger than it should be. Trying to think how to go about it. Maybe fit a small sleeve, then the tube.
  13. You need to remove the bezel, and crystal to remove the movement from this model. Using the right tools for the job help.
  14. Great story mate, enjoyed reading that I have been there with some watches, and more recently have purchased watches from my past that I really liked but for some reason at the time I had let them go. Mostly quartz too, but I have them again now, and contempt.
  15. Sorry to hear about this, hope you manage to get them back!
  16. Time to get the movement serviced? It could be any number of things from, dried oil in a jewel, to a damaged/broken pivot.
  17. Are you sure you have an ETA clone is there and not a POS Clone?
  18. Diamond file, time, care, and patience
  19. Agree with CeeJay, the pivot is broken off.
  20. Checked allwatchparts, and the CH8836 they have listed has dial feet clamps/hooks not screws like this high beat 2813. CH8836 by Micky.!, on Flickr So we can rule that out then. Really need to nail this name down for this latest POS movement TD's/factories are putting into reps and changing a packet for.
