This is a very nice and very rare gen 5513. I really love this dial.
Coming up soon in a auction in the UK: http://andersonandgarland.com/BidCat/detail2.asp?SaleRef=MH187&LotRef=788
My guess is he is wearing a IWC Schaffhausen Portugese Chronograph. Also spotted a very nice Rolex Ceramic Sub on the wrist of Corey Stoll (Peter Russo in the series)
You are not F-ing my thread, I have no idea what the prices are for gen 3717 parts, so I had just taken a guess. I am thinking about selling my 3717 (as parts or as a complete watch), and I wanted to know how much I can get for it if I am going to part it out.
I had a DSSD with Swiss movement from Andrew which was almost perfect, the alignment of the text on the rehaut was not ok, some letters touched the edge of it, but besides this minor issue it was a very very good watch.
Now I have a BK DSSD which is in my opinion the best DSSD available. It looks great, but most important, it runs great. I was offered this one via a 'want to buy' request on RWI for a bit less then $400.
That is no a GMT hand, it is the hand for the depth gauge. This was my first ever rep I ever bought together with a Big Pilot 3 years ago at MBK. To bad it died after 3 months, but it was fun wearing it, even when it is not the best rep around.
I have been to Goose Bay on different tours from 91 till 94, it was really fun to be there beside the flying. Especially when there still was snow, we loved to go out on snowmobiles. And the beer was cheap.
Sometimes I do miss it, but I find myself also very lucky. I had the best job ever!
Like Legend said, you can leave the force, but the force will always be with you. And for the guys still out there, be safe!
The politicians are still debating about replacing the F16 with the F-35 Lightning II, but the first of two test planes is recently handed over for the OT&E.
Unfortunately it will never fly with a lion on its tail, our squadron is disbanded in 2004.
The movement arrived today at my doorstep, and I have to say it really looks good. As expected it does need some parts (the automatic part is missing, and also the hour and minute wheel), but it is in a good shape. Should I try to find NOS parts, or are used parts also fine?
I am looking for a technical service guide to service a gen Rolex 1530 movement. Does anyone knows where I can find one? I have bought a nice (working) movement but it can use some TLC, and I want to see if I can do this myself.

Mine favourite TD is Trusty Time, you can't go wrong with him. And don't forget to take a look at the M2M sales, there are always some nice pieces on sale.
