That would certainly be an interesting one to see... In the past, I've always attached 3mm x 3mm squares of tape directly to the top plate of the movement, well away from any 'openings', and then lowered the dial into place and never had a problem. That said, I have had times when the datewheel has jammed on the back of the dial, due to warping... I don't use halogen bulbs to charge my lume any more (movements without plastic datewheels also helps )

Even though I hardly wore it, that was one of my favorite watches

Essentially a PVDd GMTII with black insert, but still with green lettering and green GMT hand Not intended to replace the Tudor Sub, but to serve as a 'vacation watch', and possibly an alternate wearer if a change of color-scheme is required Of course, I'll be performing a few mods on it when it arrives

It might be that when the watch was serviced, there weren't any Snowflake hands in the repair center, so they just threw on the Mercedes set... I do intend on using Snowflake hands to complete my project, but it means obtaining a Swiss movement as that's what the hands are sized for... All costs... I'm hoping to have the project completed by summer

The one thing I would point out, is foot positioning is pretty much irrelevant... They can be snapped off, and the dial attached to the movement with dial dots/double-sided tape with no issue at all No need to discount a nice dial because of foot positioning, when it is so easily overcome

I don't doubt someone shot a laptop, but I do doubt it was shot by security forces for 'being a suspicious package', that's just too unprofessional to make any sense...
