  1. Very nice watch there I've been looking at one for a while now and after looking at your pictures I think I'll need to get one Wear it in good health my friend
  2. I love the DLC coating. Like dluddy mentioned, it's almost like a whole new watch when the lighting conditions change. From deep purples and fiery reds to midnight blacks and charcoal greys as you mentioned. I'm actually looking to get a DLC Pam now just based upon your pictures
  3. Stunning results, the wait was clearly worth it!
  4. Looks very nice! If this is a taste of things to come from Z-factory then I'm certainly looking forward to their offerings
  5. Came across this interview with Richard Habring about Habring2 watches and their Spilt-second Chronograph In Part 2 Richard discusses the sustainability of watchmaking and makes some pertinent points Enjoy
  6. Wish I could have joined Have a great time guys, it look like it'll be awesome!
  7. Congratulations mate! The first of a great many years! You're not far from your 1K posting....can you make it today?
  8. Has to be the Pam 359 M Dirty Dial. It's perfectly sized for me at 44mm, is incredibly versatile and is rugged enough (with a rubber strap) to be worn whilst diving and smart enough (with a black croc strap) to be worn with a suit and casual enough (with vintage leather) to be worn with jeans that it could be all the watch I ever need. It's legibility is excellent, with a simple, yet elegant dial and the date feature is something that is essential to me for any daily wearer. The price isn't ridiculous and the reliability on par with the cost. Then there's the providence of the brand which is just the icing on the cake.
  9. Superb news! Glad to hear hard work and perseverance won once again! :)
  10. I've decided to do a little monthly clock-watch related thread containing articles that I've plagiarised borrowed from various journals This month it's Vanity Fair's piece on Big Ben's Gravity Escapement. Hope the pictures are legible!
  11. Wow! Another amazing build AJ. The face is gorgeous but that movement is simply stunning! Can't wait until it's completed!
  12. Banana Sea Wolf to help brighten up this drizzly morning
  13. After-all, I'd be doing you a favour by relieving you of the burden that is the Panerai, the least you could do is pay the postage Ah, I hadn't realised there was an alternative meaning for Lannister. I was thinking of Ser Jamie Lannister (of Game of Thrones fame) whilst typing that previous message though I would have to agree that your meaning is most accurate
  14. Superb work and fantastic result. The watch really looks beautiful in the various light conditions.
