What Ever You Do Don't Make This Internet Troll Mad !
kernow replied to Accutronitis's topic in Name & Shame
Is he here on our forum? -
Sorry to hear of this. It happens rarely fortunately, but unfortunately for Sbybbuser it was him that was scammed. All sales threads should be marked paid/closed/received etc and feedback left. This goes a little way to prevent these scams. I guess Reppin has now left never to return. @Mike on a bike I'm guessing he is now banned?

Here : https://m.cousinsuk.com/ Or there is a seller at RWI who sells a lot of second hand gen parts. He's supplied me with a gen pearl before. Exelonman is his name there.

Wow, that's some list automatico! I saw my first 'real' concert in the early 80's when I had just turned 13years old. My parents found out that I was going and said that I had to be accompanied as none of my friends were going. My father hated rock music so my mother gamely volunteered! We went to see Meatloaf (and the Neverland Express). My mother being so short couldn't see so we ended up standing on the raised platform for wheelchair users at the back of the hall! At first I was mortified, but by the end of the night it was forgotten about - even my mother was converted by the music and is now a Meatloaf fan. Others I've seen include, Iron Maiden, WASP, Saxon, Megadeth, Skid Row, Thunder, The Almighty, Billy Idol, Def Leppard (and I'm not sure if Madonna counts here!). I've regretfully missed a few great bands. I've always wanted to see both AC/DC and GnR but have never been in the same area as them!

Sorry, it's probably me thinking too loudly

Two new gator straps to complete two new watches
kernow replied to gasebah's topic in General Discussion
What a decision to have to make, or not as the case may be: you've got two wrists, so wear them both! -

Another vote for SSTEEL. He's built several for me, there are a few others here though who can help you.

None whatsoever! I guess that there are various levels in the replica/fake watch world. There are plenty of gifted members here who would shy away from the word fake. Especially when it comes to their talents of working on these watches. To me 'fake' is a cheap, typically a Rolex sub. Often bought on a whim whilst on holiday for shits and giggles. Replicas on the other hand are often built with passion by people far more experienced in this field than myself. The end result is a spectacularly close to gen watch for a fraction of the gen's price. That is the reason I said replica - to perhaps educate and draw attention to the abilities of some of our watchsmiths.

If your REPLICA watch has a fault then try to find a watchsmith - on here or local to you whom can help fix it.

Some nice human posts on this thread. War is terrible - full stop. There is absolutely no glory in warfare. I served in the Royal Navy during the first Gulf War. Whilst I didn't see any real action many of my friends and colleagues did. One of them served in the Falklands War and lost friends there. He still lives with the fact that they died and he didn't. Once a year he has 'sinkies' on the date his ship was sank and lives lost. He's shed many a tear on that date along with downing a few pints for lost friends. Put the politicians in the front line and see how long it is before peace is declared.

Good call. I like it as it is.

Why thank you all. I'm honoured to be offered this position. I'll endeavour to assist to the best of my abilities. The drinks are on me, but please be quick as it is thirsty work and there's only about a dozen bottles of beer left before we start on the whisky!

Generally these are good reps. The reliable Miyota is a good movement. However I believe that the second hand can sometimes stutter - which is not helped by large lolly pop second hand on this particular rep. The A7750 is a good rep in its native form i.e. seconds at 9. Like any rep though it's likely to need a service to keep it in tip top form.

That's a great one to have in the raffle.

Nope, mine never arrived either. I messaged the seller twice but never received a reply so I contacted Amazon and got a refund. Shame as I also ordered a thermometer - which never arrived either!
