  1. Thanks for posting here, I'd have missed it otherwise. A neat and unusual watch. Looks quite nice actually although too big for me. Wear it well
  2. I've lusted after these for a long time now. The time must be drawing near to hunt one down in M2M.
  3. Gen bracelet on the SOA 42.
  4. +1 Saw this on the news this morning. Another of the greats had sadly left us.
  5. Sorry, it's censored. I'm scratching myself head, and yellow ranger doesn't fit!
  6. Haha, that's what I did. I started with a blue gen, then managed to obtain a few reps including a black chrono. My thirst for these is not easily quenched.
  7. I have a Seamaster GMT with a black and silver night and day bezel. What I really want is an all back bezel insert for it. Does anyone know of a company (or individual) who would print a one off insert?
  8. I like that selection a lot!
  9. Just off to the post office with this now. It's going to a great forum member too.
  10. It is a Speedmaster Professional, aka a moonwatch - because it is the only watch to have been worn on the moon. (Officially)!
  11. Well, the geek is back up.
  12. I have a few random links floating around, including a half link. I don't know which factory it came from though. If you want, drop me a PM with the dimensions and I'll measure it up for you.
  13. Nope, not just you Micky. Down for me too.
  14. I like the idea of that. In general, the PO hands never really appealed to me. Certainly not in a special/one off build. However, a SMP dial and (sword?) hands would look very cool. Maybe you should go for it?
  15. The white dialled chrono should have a stainless insert. It's having one fitted ATM but the blue is beginning to grow on me. Closed factory Seamasters do come up M2M occasionally. Alternatively some people are using the modern Ceramic cases as they have the correctly positioned HEV. Whatever you choose make something unique
  16. Sorry Micky, I didn't know which one was fitted, but thank you for adding to it
  17. ........... Which brings me on to one of my favourite frankens. Built by Micky using parts that I'd collected over a few years. Starting with a closed factory case, Micky fitted a ProfSteve double AR crystal and a KeNnY relumed gen dial and hands from a 2230 Seamaster. A PO second hand, bezel and insert complete it for me.
  18. Another gen today. This time a Seamaster 2230.50 on leather. As much as I live my 2254 above I sometimes want something with just a little more bling. This does it well - white gold hands and insert. Also has a kind of Yachtmaster look to it with the raised bezel numbers.
  19. Yes, the 2254 is a gen. One of my favourites and the watch which got me started with my Omega collection.
