  1. Hi, depends, if You are looking for a GMT this one: Asian 2813 Automatic Movement, GMT Independently Adjustable. (Otherwise You don´t have a real GMT and have to set the 2nd time zone on the crown, does not work for me). For GMT this movement is fine, for other watches the Asian ETA is better (more silent/ more gen-like/more expensive/seconds hand moves smoother/serviceable).
  2. There are some absolutely amazing pictures in Toros section from member diseno: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/167877-blancpain-fifty-fathoms-noob-factory-prototype/page-2 it´s just beautiful and quality seems very good. It´s stunning, contagious, wonderful:) Priced at $465 + shipping just over the limit I set myself. Very tempted but that still means a 1.000 for 2 reps instead of $900 for 3. Have put all my "needs" on hold for reflection. KW is releasing his new bronzo version at the same price and it looks gooood too. And the Tudor Blackbay blue V2 version should be arriving end of the month already. Plus I don´t have a Radiomir yet and been tempted by the black seal also.
  3. Awesome, congrats on that Petergunny. You have to have luck beyond Your craftsmanship and the recognition by Arnold is a great one. Soon Sly&others will be banging on Your door and they have 2 or PAM´s:). Fantastic. Him going to the length of writing the letter is the greatest recognition for Your good work. Admirable, always love to hear the good news.
  4. Hi and welcome, if You do the UK shipping the watch comes to You so just try it out. For a reliable movement You can always try a quartz, the most expensive (recommended by me) is this one: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41_211&products_id=11225 the 1/10 second function works. a nice and cheap classic option is this: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=228&products_id=7725 shipping is +-$70, minimum 3 weeks, normally 4-5. For automatic watches look into the Breitling Superocean Abyss from torobravos or choose a cheaper Asian 21j one, For an experiment it will cost You $128 for the watch + $55 shipping or You buy a more expensive right from the start. Don´t try to get "the very best" as a first watch that´s almost impossible and don´t buy the very cheapest, they are not so good. Both TD´s mentioned accept credit card which is important in the beginning, later You may try other TD´s with other payment options. Good luck
  5. Did I mention repeat alarm function for both time-zones and countdown alarm? The dial glows as long as You hold the button at 10. If You hold the button at 10 for 3 seconds until it beeps afterwards You may tip any of the pushers and it will light up automatically for 3 seconds. It´s fun and functional.
  6. Needed a new hassle-free watch and got this windable and 200m waterresistant Citizen Promaster shipped in 4 days to EU from Singapore - great dial by day or night:) Have a vintage yellow/blue NATO for this too. It´s quite thin and the full-lumed dial is amazing, still readable in the morning.
  7. Timex Expedition thám hiểm là tốt nhất. Nó phát sáng trong bóng tối. Đồng hồ bấm giờ, chức năng báo thức, múi giờ thứ 2 và khả năng chịu nước. Nó các nhà thám hiểm xem Basically I said that the Timex Expedition is the best and it glows in the dark. 2nd time zone, Alarm function and waterresistant stopwatch. It´s an adventurers watch
  8. Glad You have it. Until now BP is the best Sub-C 4me until Noob V3 is obtainable as from 10 V3´s I see only 1 or 2 are really V3.
  9. Congrats on the first - and it´s a nice one. Choosing a strap is a good idea, researching the next purchase(s) another one:)
  10. Hi can´t tell from the pics but normally on the inside of the Seikos somewhere You find arrows with a pointing direction (small). On the opposite side you just push in a small screwdriver and turn and pry and push. It should open and after an eternity a stupid long pin comes out. Scratches unavoidable, for me at least. Really don´t know if that´s the system try Youtube for a better view. Wish You good luck.
  11. Toro is excellent and has some very good offers. Buy with confidence.
  12. Finally:) Thanks for posting, more pics please, lumeshot... how does it feel?.... It looks great! Congrats on Yours
  13. Hi, really believe that as it´s a TD issue You get Your refund and lost (a lot) of time. Latest after the 3rd rejection until now at least I give up on that model, get a refund and normally get something else from another TD. Would be interesting if You disclosed the watch model too with the horizontal date as it seems a standard issue on that rep. Good luck with clearing this out the soonest possible.
  14. It´s beautiful. Supersharp overall look. Very nicely done.
  15. It´s definitely a beauty and those pictures are great and show all the detail. Fantastic pearl, handstack and dial:) Looks sharp, wear it well.
  16. Very nice groupshot, really haven´t seen several together in quite a while. Keep them orange:)
  17. Pearl is BP and well centered, reahaut engraving looks on spot and centered too, the triangle at 12 can´t tell from the angle but could be slightly off. Except maybe the triangle at 12 and in the first pic the marker at 5 (lighting?) qc-wise its good. Either accept or ask for a better picture of the front of the watch if You can wait more time (sometimes I can, sometimes not but the rep than is there for Years..) Overall very nice BP-version. To the noob V3 (if it´s possible to get one, most are sold as V3 and are not) there are differences (mainly deepness rehaut engraving/ pearl/ clearness of lettering on the bezelring). But than imho it´s totally overpriced, only available with the needlessly decorated and sensible movement and I´m very happy with the next-best BP version as that one You´re getting.
  18. Have ordered the bomberjacket one from strappedfortime at a sensible price - take a look there, the most look-a-like - and I am using it on a brady sailcloath black with gold stitching from bradystraps $40 shipped with built-in lugbars and tool-less strap-release system, really like it;
  19. Looks fantastic Trooper, don´t mind the Cyclops it´s definitely interesting, congrats on Yours
  20. Somehow the 24 got me interested in researching a bit, looks so nicely polished. Hont is TD over at RWI, never ordered from him because he only ships direct and I´m in EU. Until Monday is holidays but he seems to have the Davidsen version or homage of the PAM 24: http://www.hontwatch.net/davidsen-hommage-panerai-pam-024-luminor-submersible-watch/ Please post a review here if You order it. Have fun
  21. Ok You want the PAM 24 and we don´t understand why You want a rare, not-so-well repped PAM, normally You would have to modify when/ if You get it. There was an Eddie Lee version in 2006 and a Davies one in 2010 but those are times long gone and just from what I read too. Good luck searching.
