  1. The DSSD still is my toughest rep, it takes a beating if that is what You mean by everyday wear. With the micro-adjustable glidelock clasp it also sits so well on the wrist that I don´t mind it being slightly top-heavy. Than the BD Seadweller 16600 is an awfully good watch too as said above, also some 15mm thick
  2. From what I´ve seen the best are the non ceramic, older models. The other question is if You want to spend 100 Usd more for 1% better looking. Just saying....
  3. Nice one on the SS bracelet. Enjoy it well
  4. Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice readings and fun reviews around.
  5. Hi and welcome. Soon You will find that London is one of the best places to be shipped to. Ask the trusted dealer of Your choice if the watch is available and what the best shipping option is and you´re done. Nice watch and good rep, read about using the chrono with the Asian 7750 so it lasts a long time.
  6. Hi and welcome to the forum. Soon You will find this gets quickly expensive too. But it´s just so much better to use some more watches. Have fun around.
  7. Hi again, actually I would stay clear of the pro hunter and highly recommend the stainless steel DSSD with Asian ETA. Very good rep and resistant, sturdy watch. If it has to be black, the Jacques Limited Edition (singlered) in my opinion is the better one. In black it just goes as another "big, black watch" not necessarily a Rolex which may be good or not. Be it the DSSD or the Singlered just make sure it has the glidelock clasp, which is difficult to find but is the one feature that makes these (heavy) watches so much more wonderful and comfortable (without tools You may seamlessly micro-adjust the bracelet to Your comfort, also be it in the morning or at night).
  8. Hi, just as they came, the TC has the lume applied as per gen but the Seadweller "superlumed" doesn´t stand back. Both glow all night This is how it looks in the dark. On all of them You may well read the time all night, the weakest in the long run is the AP Diver but it´s still enough to read the time after 6 -7 hours.
  9. Compared to BP sub-c; Ok can´t see it so well but they are sharp enough to cut Yourself when the bezel has been unused/tight (unless the others). Better for grabbing with diver-gloves on (does not slip).
  10. US backs adding sharper teeth to global shark protection Just couldn´t help myself.... TC´s teeth on my Caddell Rouge are sharper than those of the BP sub or Seadweller
  11. Otto Frey and Cousins have the cheap replacement movements, just 20 to 30 usd plus the labour for switching.
  12. Why not invest 108 USD plus shipping in exactly this one http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_10&products_id=10122 than if You really love it and never took it off Your wrist again You might think of upgrading if necessary.
  13. The middle one is a TC V4 bracelet - and You can always get a NATO-strap. This would go with a black croco as well, very comfortable and classy just my opinion.
  14. The max I would pay for a genuine, new, ceramic bezel would be 220 euro. This has nothing to do with market value.
  15. Hi and welcome, the 16570 Polar Explorer II is the one to get. Perfect allround watch and good daily beater, flat enough to easily slide under cuffs. Very comfortable on croco strap. The new with the orange hand is just too laaaarge:)
  16. With these prices just stay with reputable sellers with genuine croco ones. Really prefer to go with handmade individual ones.
  17. Hi and thx for posting to see what You get for the money. If You bought from a reputable seller it should be gen. Will keep to handmade individual straps, they go for cheap compared with these pricetags. Enjoy them as they are Yours.
  18. Hi think they just returned on the 18th from CNY with thousands of mail to answer. Be sure to have the right link as there are copies of the site. As You are ordering several might as well try another TD additionally too.
  19. Like the british racing green most even if it looks black the better. Would get tired of the red one soon.
  20. Good to know it´s been running fine for 9 Years now already. Enjoy and wear it well.
  21. Be sure to have better right-sized replacement springbars available - a.) only than use brute force after having one half out; b.) on some Seiko springbars they don´t have any place to grab them - still it´s normal springbars - could try to apply pressure and than push with a very small screwdriver; c.) 2 more hands might help d.) leave it on - You will never be able to put it back Sometimes this business is just unnerving, can perfectly understand You. Wait for another day and restart fresh if You have to...
  22. Great idea. Love side by side comps. Waiting for Yours
