Hi and welcome to the forum. Quite an order there, the beautiful AP Chronopassion and the Batman GMT will still be on my list for a long time. Hope You have a small fitting screwdriver ready to adjust all those bracelets:) - and the camera set up for the pics. This is something to be excited about, the start of a wonderful collection.

Hi again, this is very easy. First You try to get the watch for 268 and take a look at it, maybe there is nothing to change, maybe the one You want is sold out anyway. If it looks gen-like, it does and that's good, speaking of this specific model which is in high demand and seldom for sale. There must be a reason isn´t it? If Your hobby is more for the fun of improving watches and buying gen-parts and creating a special, unique model maybe You should go for a Rolex instead.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. All Dealers here are trusted which gives a lot of comfort. Most important part because of Your location is reading about needed shipping procedures and how payment works. Have fun around.

1 Year, 11 Months and 20 Days now.... and counting Hi Alberto, pls go to top of page and click on Forums. Go down and down and down to Watches & Accessories. Look for T. Choose Toro, Trusty etc. Search Rolex, buy a watch. Good luck.

IWC "Cousteau Divers" 2008 This is the 2008 special edition IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Cousteau Divers “A tribute to Calypso” which incorporates a stilysed picture of the research vessel on the backcase. The Calypso, the legendary research vessel of Jacques-Yves Cousteau, was a converted minesweeper, as afficionado’s are aware from countless films. Like the standard model this "Cousteau Diver" has the useful, supplementary function of a rotating inner bezel that is indispensable for diving, but which can only be rotated in a single direction for safety reasons. The chronograph reset button at 4.00 is designed with a dual function – as a crown for adjusting the unidirectional rotating bezel and, at the same time, as a reset button for the chronograph. Amazingly some specifications for this watch sourced out at Toro (thx Toro) for a nice price are the same as for the gen: - Glass: sapphire, convex, anti-reflective - Crown: screwed - Case diameter: 44 mm - Case height: 15 mm - Weight: 146 g The AR is amazing and it wears comfortable, nice sweeping secs at 9, daydate function and a blue dial that is just fantastic light blue in the sunshine, deeper blue inside or in the evening. Really should have gone for this long before. Very good time keeping and outstanding power-reserve. Nice chronominute change when the second hand hits 12. This will see a lot of wrist-time this Spring/Summer. Enjoy the pics. Just look at this....protective covers still on the chronopushers:)

Is there a reason a lot of FC Divers are up for sale.
Nightwatch replied to a topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
The AP Diver V5 in SS weighs in at 179 gr. It´s a solid, good watch and I will keep it for sure. Will also wait for the SS bracelet for it to be available again and get one. Goes for 1/3 less on the gen market than the flashier FC Diver. Maybe the FC is too light for some and the yellow over time gets too flashy. Definitely I like mine in SS and You will be happy to get an AP Diver because it is just so good - only have to decide if on this watch the carbon look is the right one and if the yellow isn´t too screaming much in several occasions. Just look at this:) -
V3 bracelet with V2 clasp is better than V3:); You need a V3 and a V2 bracelet to make the best; Factory that made V3 stopped making it; no more V3, new factory makes V4. V4 will be improved sometime, ..........wait for V5. Expect higher price too.

till now Never had a yellow watch
Nightwatch replied to Mike on a bike's topic in General Discussion
Waterproof with screw-down crown and all. If it was a 69 USD rep it would be falling apart in 10,9,8.... now! The good thing is the experience of getting a new watch hassle-free in 3 days, yellow, accessible and without any qc-stuff it still works and has well-aligned dials, had that great experience recently with the Seiko skx. Let´s see if You like the yellow, never had one either, Your PC-egg sure would love it -
Hi Old Shatterhand, not only do You have fists of steel but Your photographic skills are beyond fantastic. Love to see Your pics ... and AP´s of course:)

Hi and welcome to the forum. Good to see You are happy with Your new watch and a nice one with GMT and datefunction. Have a great vintage strap from Jacob in Spain. You have already read the IWC Portuguese has a problem with the movement at six unless You let it service and modify as soon as You get it. Think the other great IWC to get is the Laureus (noob edition?), another watch but very well made and problem-free (just from what I read but maybe easier to research that one instead). As I wanted an auto IWC too, I got the blue/yellow Cousteau Diver from 2008 instead, arrived today after a month and it looks fantastic, very happy for now. See You around.

Hi All, this seems very well sorted out, can understand both parties. Northern European standards/ quality understandings and wages are very high so the watchmaker just doesn´t want to risk doing a repair for some 60 to 90 usd which may fail in the next 24 months and backtrigger on him/ so he recommends spending 250 and it´s done. Now for the question for future reference, if You could please give an idea: - what does a full service on an Asian ETA really cost here in EU (forum-cost?)? - what does a swap of a damaged Asian eta cost for a new one including the movement? (if You just send it in to one of the forums watchsmiths without sorting out the movement etc)

got it, thanks. Apart the new chrystal the lugholes are great on Your Tudor, gives it character, the Blackbay would have been a nicer watch with those too.

Great red datewheel and roman numerals, great vintaged pictures, gives the right mood. Indeed never had seen a Tudor Prince before. Thx for sharing:)

Hi and welcome to the forum. Congrats on Your first purchase, that will be a nice watch to have. Looking forward to some pics of Yours and some otb comments. Have fun:)

He´s one of the best and no worries at all. Often has stock, if no stock and You have a special request/sold-out watch might take weeks for him to look for it. On top CNY. Write Toro one or 2 mails asking for the status (not 10 mails) wait some days and he´ll come back to You. Good luck.

Best lady replica ? what can you guys suggest ?
Nightwatch replied to Mr.NiceGuy's topic in General Discussion
Hi Niceguy, the white ceramic Chanel J12 is tops (don´t buy the cheap plastic one it´s crap) Others - all good ones, ladies reps is easier because most ladies gens are also swiss quartz, check sizes because some are so small You can´t see them:) bracelets may be difficult to adjust, just take care.... and don´t offer any without a box/watchcase if You don´t get the boxset right away too; Here You go: white ceramic Channel J12 rosegold Omega deVille Ladymatic (difficult to find) Tag Aquaracer Ladies Omega double Eagle Constellation Tag Link Cartier Ballon Bleu Patek Nautilus, ladies version Rolex Cellini -
That was interesting, thanks. The Sternkreuz really looks good - the crystal I mean. Btw what´s the difference to TC´s 25-295-c crystals? $55 TC Rolex 25-295-C 1.8 mm Gen Spec Crystal. It comes with a 2.7 mm gasket. The cyclops reads 2.5x. Crystal brighter/better than Clarcs as claimed.

I do love this older model and by far rather have this than the Noob version of the newer one - it´s too big. Use this a lot, also for the GMT function. Trusty and Toro used to have them, but You have to really look around, many come with silver hands, think pureti.me had them also in a correct handstack version but that had another flaw - can´t quite recall witch one. Used it a lot on SS bracelet but the bracelet is weak/too light compared with other Rolexes, prefer it on a black leather croco now. Here´s 2 pics and here on strap with Oefner Hatch´s fantastic desintegrating cars series

Congrats Fraggle42, that´s a stunner of a watch. Can´t stop looking at them since seen the first Tudor BB. Could You please tell how thick the rep is? Think I can´t resist any much longer to get the hands on one of these:)
-
Going by the second picture it looks too well-aged vintage to risk damaging it, would not re-lume. Looks good.
-
It´s finally getting better this multifunction Navitimer. Great pictures and review. Thx a lot for this. Congrats, on Your wrist it looks professionally gen-like.
-
Hi and welcome, similar (Divers) has been discussed recently, to give You a headstart here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/166728-wrist-shot-request-ap-diver-vs-rolex-submariner/ and take another look at the AP wristshot section. Cheers

Sure will, it´s a beautiful one, thx for the short review and pic. Sure looks good on Your wrist too.
