I sent mine back via USPS parcel, it took three weeks, tracking was only available stateside and the cost was $16. So those are the options, one week vs three weeks 16 vs 40... Just so you know the other option available. You save a few pennies by doing your postage online also.

That color is bright enough to make Dirk Pitt reconsider the Doxa... and Al Giordino jealous, again.

Why so many variations of a Limited Edition watch?
Pontiaddict replied to Pontiaddict's topic in The Omega Area
With all of the above said, I do find that I really, really, really like the white face on the 15,007G and the black face is timeless, even the gray face is a stunning look against the leathers and or the SS bracelet. Maybe it was a good idea after all... -
Why? I have been watching the dealers closely for weeks now, hoping for the new Omega 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition. Instead they have produced the Aqua Terra James Bond 15,007 G in multiple colors and I'm trying to figure out, Why? the Omega Edition is a blue face with yellow accents. The dealers (PT, TT, KW) began offering that model months ago... but just this week it has been released in 'all new' white face, grey face, black face on black leather, brown leather, SS or seemingly any mix of the above... even the bumble bee 15,000 G seconds hand has reappeared on some models. I do realize the adage is 'different strokes...' but do people really line up to buy a LE watch that is obviously by color, etc. incorrect? or, maybe it's just me.

Thank you for sharing the link to your build, the detail is incredible and the pictures are wonderful. Inspiration comes at odd times and while searching for possible plexi alternatives I stumbled upon this wonderful post showing just what is possible. Thank you.

PureTime now has the corrected Aqua Terra 15,007 gaus LE Bond watch available, the bumble bee seconds hand is gone... added today 9/03. Still waiting for the Seamaster 300 SPECTRE...

I have read at A Blog to Watch et al that the Genuine 'Spectre' 300 will come with a fully brushed SS bracelet as well as the striped NATO. That should be a welcome change from the high polish links which many find easily marred on the current models and in addition to the NATO should round out the wearability of this timepiece. I so want to see this repped and soon, before the movie gets here preferably...

It looks awesome Nanuq! Thanks for sharing! Even better the Dagaz description says it will fit my baby monster too... my Snowy deserves a new look and some wrist time.

So regards the case back, according to this PR from Omega: http://www.omegawatches.com/press/press-release-detail/3015 I really want to see the case back it sounds interesting, maybe this instead of the typical Seamonster:

Packaging/shipping from fellow members on M2M sales
Pontiaddict replied to astonjenks's topic in General Discussion
yep, I came here to post just that, I save those like old gold coins for the next time I have to ship a watch... anything less is likely to allow for damage. -
Be careful, that watch does not have the correct second hand, it should be solid yellow and several TDs have it. I contacted PT and was told they did not have it available with the correct solid yellow second hand. As to the SPECTRE 300 for me this is a MUST HAVE. There are no pictures of the back of the watch, I remember reading previously this was supposed to get the same gun barrel/riffling to the rotor as seen on the Aqua Terra, I wonder if that is the case?

Found this at KW: http://www.kuvarsitwatch.com/iwc/portuguese/iwc-portuguese-power-reserve-rose-gold-white/ I have purchased several watches from KW, great service in point of fact they have one (PAM390) now that had an issue and they had me return it; try and get that from ali... as stated above the date wheel is sunken but very nice presentation IMO.
-
The NATO/fabric option takes care of that issue and IMO makes the watch look great, this is how I would wear it: http://www.phillipswatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Tudor-2-1024x767.jpg I really hope we someone rep this version, soon.

Not an IWC guy, but I did order a watch from AliExpress. Once. The seller happily confirmed everything prior and took the payment, then stated it was not available from factory please choose another "dear friend", again and again... When all was done I received junk which I would not wear or sell. Lesson learned, Approved Seller list revisited. FWIW.

Along these lines... Does anyone have the new domain for TS? I trashed the email update before saving the address. TIA

Sourcing a Rep PAM tang(ardillon) buckle: Any ideas?
Pontiaddict replied to konadoc's topic in The Panerai Area
Maybe this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/22mm-New-High-quality-Solid-SS-Polished-Brushed-Watch-Band-Strap-Pin-Buckle-/161493591359?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item6b39589c9f -
Thank you SSTEEL I appreciate your advice and expertise in this regard. I don't have a relationship with a watchsmith locally, I will try to find someone as even addressing the package seems a daunting task filled with uncertainty. If someone reads and knows of a reputable service vendor... anything is better than nothing. My most sincere thanks to all that have reviewed this thread and issue.
-
Thank you, the dealer wants me to return it to them. I will do that and wait to see how this works out, the strange thing is I'm more concerned about customs now then ever before, only time will tell... hopefully it makes the round trip safely.

Hi all, I'm having issues with a new PAM 390; it has a 6497-2 movement and is now just three weeks old... at issue it stops every time it is face down. It took a bit of testing to figure just what was happening, but with the watch wound it runs in every orientation except face down. I noticed it stopped as it was buckled onto the wrist but ran fine on the shelf... winding, watching, testing it took a bit but that is what I have determined. So, next steps? return it? open the case? other...? any suggestion is appreciated.

Absolutely love that Brietling and the leather choice really sets it off nicely. Beautiful.

Thank you, a nice collection, a true gentleman and thirteen minutes well spent.

Mr. K at Kuvarsit is up and running, that site is in the midst of a dramatic overhaul, not closed.

Very nice, I love the 42mm PAMs.

Yes, you are correct and my previous observation was short-sighted; I ordered the 338 with the gold hands and what appears to be a brushed SS case rather than the correct Ti, time will tell once it arrives. Live and learn I suppose, right or wrong I do like the look and size of it.
