  1. Ok, my mistake. i don't visit the loony bin that often.
  2. Nice woman, but please read the board rules.... Especially #13: [13] - Any posts/avatars/signatures containing any sexual content, people with a minimal or no amount of clothes on, etc. will be removed.
  3. Inge for me today! Can some car-nut guess my car?
  4. Works fine for me. Even though you must allow it to update. Nice feature!
  5. Just like plaifender, I am wearing the Chopard Mille Miglia. New for me, bought it for my GF. Great watch!
  6. Excellent pictures! The Inge is my only Gerald Genta watch at the moment. I like it, but have no plans of adding some of his other designs to my collection. Genta has also designed a Rolex.... The little-known Oysterquartz model!
  7. It says MARK 2 on the caseback. I guess it is just a designer who is not familiar with Latin letters, Just like the "POLFY"... between the lugs on the MBWs
  8. Great review of one of the most sought-after watches in the world. This is my only Daytona replica. The Seagull ST-19 powered 6263. (modded with the 6 o'clock subdial frozen) A compact, heavy rep with a solid feeling.
  9. Great work, Lello! I did not know that you were working on this. I am in for one! Guess the price will be about the same as for the Inge datewheel.
  10. Air-Kings from Silix: Blue, Explorer Style dial ETA... Silver, Stick marker dial Asian movement. Very nice watches, the blue one is on regular rotation. Sometimes I prefer just a simple, small watch. The Explorer I is also considered to be a very good replica, similar in size to the Air-King but more sporty. It is just not very popular due to the size.
  11. Nice Lorenz, Scoobs1971! I have not seen that before! I am in TAG Heuer mood at the moment. Wearing my Link Chronograph today. It has an movement swap by The Zigmeister. Genuine Calibre 16, TAG-modified ETA 7750. Tomorrow, I will most likely wear the CV2010.. Beautiful watch, more dressy and retro than the Link. It actually feels and looks more expensive. Not a good picture of the Carrera, but a decent "everyday shot".
  12. Welcome back! Glad you had a nice vacation in the Big Apple. It will be very interesting to read the review of the seconds@3 movement. Hopefully the good work on the modification is a sign of a change to the better in Chinese modifications. I have not had the opportunity to thank you for the good work on my two TAG Heuer Chronographs. Both are running fine. Good work in replacing and painting the missing red Chrono seconds hand!
  13. Good choice on the SFSO! The best replica there is at the moment! Yes, there has been different dials on the genuine Steelfish, with and without curved "s" and with "big date box". I think Pugwash made a post about this some weeks ago. The conclusion was that the rep dial is very very close to an original dial. Date font is a tiny bit off, but nice and "square" as a proper ETA -font. To me, the pearl is the only small "tell" on this one..together with the rather stiff bezel.
  14. Great buy for 650 USD.. I guess you can always make a profit by selling it on eBay, if you dont like it.
  15. Donation made. This forum has given me an expensive hobby... But it is worth it!
  16. Some good looking pieces there! Nice Gucci, vbarrett! I have considered that for my girlfriend, she is happy with her Prada though. For me, it is my gen Breitling Intruder at the moment. Received it two days ago. 2000-model year. A nice multifunctional Breitling for about 120 USD more than the ETA-Steelfish. Fresh electric blue dial. For the weekend, I guess I will switch back to the Carrera. Need to keep the automatics going.
  17. I think that the term "Noobmariner" might not be definitive. I bought the Noobie from River, with the ETA- copy movement, which looked and felt just like the regular ETA, without the ETA- stamps... Pauls offerings might be the same just with the stamps, I dont know... It is a jungle out there... It is a very nice watch, nevertheless!
  18. Great review, thanks! I wonder, can you see any difference in the "Registered Swissmade" and "Steelinox" stamps on the clasp? I think that on the cheaper replicas, the staps are visible from the back of the clasp.
  19. Excellent work! Thank you for this effort! The TAG Heuers definently deserves their own guide. One note on the Golf watch: The genuine is Titanium, while all the reps seems to be Stainless Steel. For the Aquatimer Calibre S, I believe that the two "subdials" works as retrograde seconds hands on the replica, quite cool. I have only seen this offered by TTK and Silix. Silix still has it on his "watchsilix"page, together with a number of other odd TAG replicas. Another watch which can be mentioned is the Monaco Sixty-Nine, a very special watch, with reversible lcd/analog display. The replica of this one is neat.
  20. Cool pictures and gorgeous watch. Nice to see it working.. True understated elegance!
  21. Yep, I think most members are willing to pay 4-5 the cost of a this one, to get a watch with quality similar to the Cousteau or Ingenieur... I considered to buy this one, to check it out, since I was ordering one of the vintage Subs and a SFSO from Silix... But in the end I know that I would most likely never used it, and it would not have any resale value. Still, I kind of like it. Heck, I even like some of those cheap faux chronos.
  22. I posted this in the "Slevin-thread" but since no one commented on it, I thought it was better to make a new thread on it. A replica of the non-chrono Aquatimer was out on Silix' page some days ago. Seems like decent quality, two years ago I think we all would have been all over this one.. but today, we are a bit spoiled. hxxp://www.watchsilix.com/product.asp?id=1931 It might not be a "Super rep".. White datewheel, wrong crowns, thin hands, badly applied lume.. But way better than any previous attempt I have seen, and with a rotating inner bezel. I wonder if there might have been a version of the genuine with this type of crowns. and the thinner hands? For 46 Euro it could be worth a try?
  23. Welcome back, Ken! And best wishes for a full recovery soon!
  24. I agree, It seems like Tag Heuer struggle to keep their heritage.. The cushion shaped Monza is a lovely watch. I can't belive they have dumped that, and the fancy Autavia... Well, maybe the Autavia had a too distinct shape to appeal to the modern customers.
