  1. What a beautiful watch. And the pictures... Sinful. Lani I think you may have flown the coop bud! I'm dying for a non-chrono version. The differences/threads though are enough to make me mad right now. Any shove in the right direction for the non chrono 2220~80 would be really appreciated as I continue to dig/search my way towards the grail. (I'm on your guide in a seperate tab as I type this BT) As far as grail... This little page, has taken up 90% of the real estate in my dreams. So close, so far.. I want to do dirty things to make it possible. http://www.omegawatches.com/index.php?id=286
  2. If you're wearing it that high up on the arm, you're wearing it too tight. It should have enough play to fall past that bone your talking about. Correct me if i'm wrong here, but the general rule is to be able to stick your pinky finger in between the bracelet and the bottom of your wrist.
  3. Polishing different angles and areas of metal to a mirror shine is not that simple. Sometimes instead of a shine you get a haze, etc. It definately takes practice to get right. But I agree, that trying yourself may be rewarding- just don't practice on something you value.
  4. These new super GMT's sound like -super- pieces of [censored].
  5. Am I the only one that think these CHS GMTIIc's are hugely overrated with crap movements? Will you guys buy anything nowadays? It's a shame that is what it comes down to though, yes? My SFSO came with a loose caseback. Most do. No problem, greased it and sealed it down. But thats not the point.
  6. Thanks for sharing an experience of a lifetime... And having the balls to take pictures of your rolex during the instructional. A hardcore bunch we are. (A buddy of mine during installation of header on my SE-R)
  7. I have a 177H from josh. The lever itself is very small. Thats a LOT of work you did. think replacing the lever itself would be easier? dvsn sell them and would it fit the stock 177H CG?
  8. Welcome If you have access to a lot of watches, ask about becoming a collector.
  9. Why? $100... begin YM shipped from Josh. Accepts ETA 2836-2 and DG movement swap.
  10. nice! How about a side and back view while your at it Whats the AR like on these? I can't see the crystal, nor any AR color.
  11. Nice. Soak it in. I'll be thinking of beating you under that California sun next time i'm doing a couple laps in Forza2.
  12. Dont wear the PP if you don't want to. Its your day to shine. Just let it come to you the day of. Don't have to preplan it. Congratulations TeeJay!
  13. Great review, look forward to seeing pics.
  14. Is that a lot of radiation per the meter pics? Interesting.
  15. Because its quartz. Totally ruins it for me. I want a gen SMP chronometer badly. I'm thinking about trading/selling my TAG for it. Maybe I will make a thread.
  16. I don't think anyone needs to tell you what to do Lan. Wear it when it makes you happy. We set the trends, they do not set us. Oh how I want that Scuderia.
  17. Sounds like attention to QC on a nicely done piece. I'm impressed. Another fine hunk of alloy for the wrist, wear it well R.
  18. I own that watch. You know what? I thought it was saphire the entire time- until just now. I was under the impression that synthetic saphire was synthetic saphire when I purchased it back some time ago. the words synthetic saphire used as the exact opposite of its very definition. I have so much loving feelings inside to share right now. Can you feel it? Synthetic saphire. Sexual chocolate.
  19. One of, if not my most favorite 16610. That watch has "it".
