  1. Awesome watch! Imagine it with The Zigmeister's superlume
  2. Touche- make that AP in the same manner Hublot has been recently.
  3. Loving that BCE shot with the lume!!
  4. Cool watch! Tissot has done some neat things with digital displays....enjoy it/your Aquatimer!
  5. Np...I have a place in my heart for great vintages and the Constellation/Seamasters with 5xx/7xx movements are some of the best!
  6. Right...the amount of torque stress on movement components varies from movement to movement but if you're blasting a balance wheel along ten times per second vs 4-6 times per second....do the math as to how much more wear that could potentially cause.... Edit: Double post
  7. Well the vintage Omegas are also more valuable if they have certain in-house chronometer movements like the 561, 564, and 751.... 35x bumper autos vary in price...it's a buyer's market in the vintage watch arena...I just picked up a Girard Perraguex HF (high frequency) chronometer 39 (functional) jewels, 36,000 vph in-house movement in great condition (being shipped to me right now hopefully lol...paid today) for....wait for it. Under $200. Now, it'll probably need a servicing but that's a small price to pay... I've forwarded the link for the Omega to noted expert Desmond Guilfoyle (whose articles on vintage Constellations are amazing...to say the least...and can be found in my review of my vintage Omega) for review...I'll keep the forum posted.
  8. The bond thing sounds like [censored] to me but the movement does look to be a Calibre 564 (I own one- superb movement) BUT there is a tendency for dishonest sellers to take the scrap rotor and winding bridges from Chronometer series 564s and put them on lower 17 jewel movements...not nec. the case but sometimes you can tell by the coloring of the bridges. As to "cheap"- the reserve hasn't been met yet...for all we know it could be $2000... The bond thing is weird...I may pass the link to Desmond Guilfoyle for review...
  9. The whole point of having a PO box is so that you don't need to give out your name... I'd confirm with him first but it's probably "P.O. Box XXXXXXX Hong Kong" Edited: "China" should not be added to the end
  10. That's the smaller one without the day but I've tried both that and its larger brother and, as you've said BT, the smaller one feels better on the wrist balance wise.
  11. Might be getting heat from AP? I've seen a bunch of dealers creating separate sites for Hublot stuff due to legal issues, etc. Edit: wrong company
  12. Good thing we can get the same watch for half price! (actually, less than half from Homer)
  13. Congrats man! I haven't even broken 3000!!
  14. Awesome watch! I agree with TeeJay...that lume looks fantastic!
  15. Well I mean...this protects everyone because we do NOT condone ever selling a rep as a gen so by having this list "public" (although I'd suggest making it available for supporters/platinum members only) per se we protect everyone who is looking to purchase a gen.
  16. Yikes...did they use a nail file to do the beveling on those gears??!!
  17. Shundi

    New POS

What'd it set you back if you don't mind me asking?
  18. PM me for a rec...
  19. That's a steal!
  20. That's terrible! My thoughts and prayers go out to the families...
  21. Beautiful watch! Surprised you were able to pull the Rollies off long enough to take those shots
  22. The copy ETA's are actually really good movements for the money...just not if they're sold as gen ETAs... a lot of times the Asian ETA movements show up in better working order than the surplus/refurb gen ETAs the manufacturers use!
  23. You could probably have it fixed fairly easily by a competent watchmaker... If you still want to sell it, I'm sure someone will pick it up for a quick fix.
  24. FM much Very class watches for a lady...excellent choices all of them! None of the auto Cartiers or 40MM Pams?
