So, tonight I was just picking through a long list of e-mails from those 'Deal of the Day' watch sites that I signed up for years ago when I was still collecting mostly mid-price Genuine watches (and have been forgetting to opt out from for a long while, hence the large list ). Anyways, I came across one site that is having a sale on their stock of Swiss Legend watches, which for the most part I had never paid any attention to, save for a few glances. Well tonight one in particular caught my attention, and it dawned on me just how much of a mutt this design really is, and how little original design goes into some of these watches... So, which watch is it you ask? This would be the almighty Trimix >>> (Image borrowed from Google Images) Now, when I had seen this model in the past, I immediately saw the Octagonal bezel and dial and thought AP RO Offshore chrono rip-off (with obvious quartz chrono dial layout), and proceeded to click delete, and slunk off to gaze at the next watch. However, the more that I really looked at the watch tonight, the more design elements started to pop out at me. The name 'Trimix' could not have been a complete oversight, could it? The elements that make this watch really DO make it a mix of three very recognizable design houses from the mid to top tier of Swiss watch brands >> The bezel design from AP, the main case body, hour and minute hands design from Hublot, and the screw down crown cap and pushers from U-Boat! Though I know that all of us 'seasoned' veterans of the watch world have always been aware that these cheaper 'original' brands rip off other more expensive designs, I was just surprised to see how far they are willing to go. Starting to think that if these brands (SL, Invicta, Stuhrling original) had not started as early as they had (I know Invicta started as it's own legit company back in the 1800's), they may have found some decent success as rep factories, lol. Oh well, guess Swiss Legend is just able to label themselves that way by copying other actual Swiss Legends, eh?

I have been researching for the last few months learning as much as I can, but I know there are members here that have forgotten more than I know lol. What do you guys think of this V6 Big Bang?? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, I am aware of Eric aka Donerix, but afaik there are other makers as well, I just was not able to find them even though I did search the forum. Any suggestions where to look? Banda e.g. does not list Hublot straps any more. Thank you in advance.

Hey guys, I just bought myself my first replica, having a respectable collection of genuine Rolex & Breitling watches. More or less a try-out of the watch, trying to see if it's a design I'd like to live with, before spending €18,000 on one. I bought if from Trusty and it's his HBB 0239 watch, (Big Bang Rose Gold Ceramic Black A-7750). I believe it's the new v6 version, correct me if I'm wrong ( http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=279_280&products_id=9455 ). QR pics: http://imgur.com/a/erIzf . It's one of those "Made with genuine fully dissected - 1:1 replication" reps. I'm actually impressed with it, there are only very minor twirks that would make you understand it's a replica, and that, only in good light situations and probably only comparing it with the original. I have to state that the bezel does not have a blue tint, it's actually super clear. I assume they are now sourcing different crystals, so possibly ,every v6 made from now on will have such a good glass. I got a friend that has a Hublot Aero Bang, he did check out the watch from the back as well, and he didn't even ask if it's a rep. Although I have to say this was done in a night club with bad lighting and the guy was not wearing his Hublot at the time. This is such a good rep that makes the genuine watch price look silly, at least to people having no idea about quality watches. In case the following can be corrected or modded out, I guess this rep is a winner: 1) The top ("ceramic") part of the case has the side-teeth 'pattern' completely wrong. The V1 case has this pattern almost spot on. Does anyone know if this model's top part can be replaced with a V1 top case, provided that this can be sourced out? Has anyone done this? 2) The buttons and crown feel really cheap to fiddle with, at least compared to my other automatic watches. I have no experience on a real Hublot to compare though, so that might be OK. I guess the movement has to be replaced in order for that to change. 3) The movement looks quite convincing if you don't have a good memory and remember the exact dimensions and relative sizes of parts and gears. The 'HUBLOT GENEVE' writing on the winder is not engraved though. I think I've seen a HBB rep version where the winder's font was closer to the original and it was engraved, although it did need a bit of sanding down to really look the part. I can't find the thread right now though. 4) The strap will obviously be replaced, although I have no idea where to look into first. I would buy the original strap and locking mechanism in case they are worth it. 5) Is it me, or is the date window a tad off by almost half a mm? I guess this is the best that can be done on an asian 7750 Vaijoux though. In case someone has bought the new v6 from any trusted dealer and has experience with reps and mods, I guess his input in this thread would be greatly appreciated. Searching through the forum, I found a lot of people talking about someone named 'Andrew' and a company named 'Trusty Time'. At first I was going to buy from 'James' who has a website that he promotes ww w . iparadisiac . co. I came to the conclusion he promoted crap quality watches compared to what reps are out there. So, I have been searching for Andrew, but found nothing but a bunch of people talking about purchasing products from him. I think he is connected to Trusty Time? And, I have been searching trusty time, I found ttw888 . com, trustytimewatches . com and yourtrustytime . info So, which one of these websites is the REAL trusty time? Or is trusty time just a user on this forum that has the best quality reps? Or is Andrew a seller from Trusty Time that sells to us on the forum. Basically, I don't want to buy from the wrong websites / person. So please if someone can help me make sure that I am buying from the right person and points me in the right direction, I would appreciate it so much. I'm looking for a few specific rep watches that I can't seem to find anywhere. I'm new to this whole scene so I'm not really sure if any of these actually have reps out there but if they do, someone please let me know where I can get them. My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I know for a fact that he wants two of these and the other one I think he would really like so if anyone can help please let me know The first one is the Hublot Tourbillon Skeleton (The one I think he would like) Next up is the Hublot Vision Classic Dubai (Which he has expressed that he would kill to have one, rep or gen) And the third, which I know for a fact he wants above any other is the Richard Mille RM055 in white If anyone can give me any information on whether these reps exist/where to get them if they do, I will love you forever.

Hello community, I search a good Hublot Big Bang, which is near to the GEN. I've seen that, the Hublot Rep's are still good in their quality, very close to to gen. I already looked at trustys shop, but i have few questions. - How good is the quality of Hublot BBs Reps ? (In their "best-editions") - What about the weight? Like gen? - What about GEN Parts? I already read that i can change the parts (like Rolex Sub's). But is this really possible? Are there some Stores to search the Parts? Because i want to buy a GEN Dial, but only then, if the rep is sooo bad. - Do I have to change some parts, or looks it really like Gen? At which parts you can see the Rep? Like the quality, price, delivery satisfiable? Do they look very similiar to genuine? *I'm looking for an AP (navy or bumblebee or panda) and a Hublot BB Steel Ceramic - BTW, why AP bumblebee wasn't labelled "BASE" but "TACHYMETER" in the inner yellow ring? and it doesn't has a forged carbon casing right? will there be a new breed of reps or any possibility in ordering the parts stated above? Went over to all the Trusted Dealers websites and all of them different prices for a V6 Rose Gold Big Bang. Why price difference? When its from the same factory and the same product? And who should I choose?

My small watch collection. It all started with the 1978 Rolex which was passed from my grandfather to my dad and down to me a few months ago. From left to right: Rep Hublot Big Bang 301 (44mm), Gen 1978 Rolex Oyster Air King, Invicta Automatic (no idea of model name), TW Steel Canteen TW-11 (50mm), TW Steel CEO 4004 (48mm). Obviously the TW Steel watches are gen as they only retail for $500 & $900 respectively & the Invicta was about $100 (bargain!). The Rolex as per the receipt was $270 (bought on the 18th May 1978) so by today's inflation makes it about $1000, I did however have it valued recently at $3000 if I had is serviced and some restoration done to remove some scratches and a slightly damaged second hand. This is my first 'review' and purchase so it'll be of a certain mediocre standard haha. My pictures are not the best but here goes! It looks gorgeous in my opinion. For those who said the bezel is not shiny, it SPARKLES! Just like the gen. And the stopwatch is perfect, played around with it a bit hahaha yes I know I shouldn't but I was excited. :hehehe: the dial looks scarily identical to the gen and all in all I'm very pleased with the v6!! It's an amazing watch and my marker at 6 is not off as a lot of people have claimed. Heck I told people who asked if it was fake, "yup" and they didn't even believe me! One of my friends is a watch enthusiast too haha, well my gain! The following photos were taken with my ipad and on my dining table/wrist so sorry if they aren't great! The couple of gripes that I have with respect to the watch is that firstly the red of the seconds hand on the chronograph is not as red as the gen! Secondly, the clasp is a but sharp which can hurt after long periods of wearing it or short periods if you wear it very tightly. Lastly, it's not a problem with the face, it's with the strap. As you can see, it sticks out in the photos and is quite ugly because of that. As such I'm purchasing an all black strap from Eric of hamiltonleathers who will make it for me in a week, I shall post photos when I receive them! Hello everyone! I am new member looking for some help. I am looking to purchase my first rep and wanting some assistants finding the right watch and the right dealer. This is my first replica but not my first rolex, my yachtmaster was stolen this Christmas when our house was broken into when my family and I was out of town for Christmas. Thank god our home owners insurance is going to cover our misfortune. But I figured instead of buying another 17 thousand dollar watch I might go and buy my wife a new car, you know the saying happy wife happy life I have a few watches I have picked out but need some help making a informative decision. I like rose gold and like a little bling, I know don't hold it against me;) I'm in the car business and it reflects my personality so go easy on me. First is the rose gold diamond strap Hublot Big Bang from a site called hublotf1 but don't really know much about this seller. The second is the rose gold Rolex Day-Date with the diamond strap and bezel with the black mop dial. I love this watch! The dealer is a site called timeshop dot net which is a trusted seller on some forums but I wonder about the quality. Last is the diamond two tone gmt master and the two tone submariner. I like the fact that I just learned that there are a lot of mods you can do to these watches which sounds pretty cool just not sure which seller has the best quality watch. There is just a lot to take in and though I have done my home work I feel I need the help from a more knowledgable member to assist me. From( gold rapped, gold plated, movement, mods, dealers to the watches them selves) I'm just not sure where to start. Any help info or input will be appreciated remember I am a noob. Here's a single pic of a recent acquisition. I have been suffering from Gold Fever and this watch is one of the many that have found their way onto my wrist. This watch is very finely executed. The AR is terrific. This is the latest version with Superlume. Yes, she glows brightly. I swapped straps to the Gummy. I think it fits the watch better. And at my local Hublot AD, the rosegold is being offered on the Gummy. Cheers

Hi all, I've really been wanting a Hublot for some time now. My question is, are the reps of the 40mm good? I've read the V6 for the BB is a pretty solid choice, but haven't seen much on the 40mm versions. My reason for wanting the 40mm is the obvious one of having smaller wrists. I was looking at the 40mm's on Puretime as of now. Anyone have any good input on these? Secondly, are mods & certain upgrades even available for such a watch? Hello guys, I'd like to begin by introducing myself. I'm a watch lover, have owned a few gens (mostly Cartier) over the years, a newbie to the rep world, but am very intrigued by the quality of today's reps compared to gens. *Lengthy story below, bear with me* Here my first journey in this hobby begins: After closely examining and really studying up on good reps, trusted dealers, etc. I decided to make my first rep purchase from Trusty Time. I ordered a Hublot Ice Bang (I believe it was a V6 *noobie alert* with the platinum plated bridges and all) about a month ago now. About two or three days after ordering Andrew contacted me and let me know about the current situation with the factories, and the raids that seem to be plaguing them. He told me the Hublot factory was closed due to these raids and it could take 3-4 weeks for them to get my watch in stock and ready to ship. I told him this was no problem, I could wait. In the meantime, I had been looking at some PAMs and had read that the 111 M from Noob was a pretty good rep so I decided that while I waited for the Ice Bang I would order one of these to entertain myself with. Andrew confirmed it was in stock and a week after the order was placed he sent me QC pics, which I glanced over (noobie mistake) and approved, and then he sent it out. After waiting another two weeks for the delivery to arrive (held up an entire week in customs), I got the watch and absolutely loved it. However, upon further inspection I noticed that it was not an M Series like I had ordered, it was apparently an N, or so the case back reads. I loved the watch anyways, so despite having been sent the wrong Series (partly my fault, didn't notice the N serial in the QC pics) this didn't bother me much. I had read the Ns from Noob were great as well (perhaps better?). Anyways, having learned my lesson I decided that when the QC pics for the Ice Bang arrived I'd inspect them more carefully. They arrived a few hours ago, and I immediately noticed that the strap that it featured in the pics (gummy aligator) was not the one I'd asked for (I wanted the smooth rubber one) so no biggie, I informed Andrew and he said he'd change it. But then I noticed something that worried me. Now, remember I am very new to this so I may be terribly wrong about this but, I noticed that the ceramic case had a matte finish to it on the watch in the QC pics. Now to my understanding, the gen Ice Bang (numerals), be it with the tantalum or tungsten bezel has a kinda shiny/brushed black ceramic case, while the Ice Bang Evolution (stick markers) has the black matte case (like the All Black II). So I believe what I was looking at was kinda a rep hybrid featuring the Dial from the average Ice Bang (with numerals) inside the ceramic case of the Ice Bang Evolution (who's dial is supposed to be stick markers instead of numerals). Needless to say I informed Andrew. He then insisted that the case was correct, even after I sent him a stock QC picture from his website which I believe contradicted this. He then said that, that was the last watch left, that the factory had recently reopened for a couple of days and had been shut down again due to the raids, possibly for another two weeks. He said if I didn't want the watch he would offer me a refund. I took the refund. I may be new at this but my gut and a bit of research led me to believe that the watch wasn't right, not even in rep standards. I am awaiting the refund but I know Andrew is good for it. Well, now that I've told my story, my questions to the seasoned veterans on this board are as follows: 1. What do you make of the mix up with the PAM? 2. What do you think of the issue with the Hublot Ice Bang? 3. How much do you think the raids, lack of stock, etc. influenced the situation with both orders? 4. And most importantly, what trusted dealer can send me a proper Ice Bang V6 now? I've been looking forward to this watch for a month and am now completely lost as to how to get my hands on one.
