cronsell Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 Listened to this one today, Gov't Mule, self titled. It's been a while, what an awesome guitar album!!! Hook Herrera plays the hell out of the harmonica on a few tracks too!

Victoria Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 I'm angry I've been stuck home all day due to heavy rain, when I have so many pending chores to do, SO... Children of Bodom's "Lake Bodom" & Wagner's "G
Roland Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 The Solti Ring, good choice. Walkuere might be best for a rainy day, it opens with a fierce storm. Myself, right now listening to Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with Andreas Scholl.
Victoria Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 The Solti Ring, good choice. Walkuere might be best for a rainy day, it opens with a fierce storm. Yes, but I needed to be calmed down, and the Prologue is almost mesmeric. It comes at you in waves, building, building...tension, release, tension, release -- love it. Myself, right now listening to Pergolesi's Stabat Mater with Andreas Scholl. Ooh, nice. Never heard it -- I'm a total music illiterate, really. EDIT: Found it on iTunes. Ah that one! ...I don't know titles, but I can always recognise a work I've heard before. @GiD: I love Goldfrapp, Volker! Nice choice there. EDIT: Yes, it was that bad. (I love Wagner).
Raijor Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 I am a fan of Reggae and have Sirius .... been playing stuff like this in the car from the all Reggae all the time channel Eek A Mouse - Ganja Smuggling
a german in denmark Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Goldfrapp: Seventh Tree, "Cologne,Cerrone,Houdini". Absolutely mind blowing!
a german in denmark Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 I'm angry I've been stuck home all day due to heavy rain, when I have so many pending chores to do, SO... Wagner's "G

tomhorn Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Queen - Live From Wembley Stadium today. Quite possibly the best live album ever recorded, IMO.
Chronus Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Rush - YYZ Justin Timberlake - Sexyback Chayanne - Salome (remix) Natalie Imbruglia - Torn Chemical Brothers - Hey DJ Shakira/Wyclef - Hips Don't Lie Jessica Andrew - Even Angels Fall Green Day - American Idiot Infernal - From Paris To Berlin Cascada - Everytime We TouchDa Buzz - Last Goodbye Morandi - Angels Avril Lavigne - One Of Those Girls Black Sabbath - Paranoid Yeah, I like lots of different types of music.... but no rap/hip hop here because I'm at work!
Chronus Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 And right now is Craig David - Rendezvous (DJ Premier remix) I can't get enough of those DJ Premier beats.... he has a James Brown mix tribute as well. The remix he made for Janet Jackson's "Together Again" completely transforms the song... so different... and haunting. The 8gb on the memory card on my phone is different to the stuff I keep at work...so I have some salsa, merengue, metal/rock, hip hop/rap, r&b, techno, house, pop etc... I even have the Vengaboys on there...! Next up... another DJ Premier gem: Hustlin' Daze with Donell Jones
Blobzor Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 T O O L Best band since pink floyd , enough said. and no the 80's weren't that good. Except joy division, the cure, and the end of the 80's, the rest was pretty much plainly bad.
