My 56yo sister passed away at 1.25pm today after a short but savage battle with cancer.

Rose suffered many problems and the family truly believes she has gone to a better place.

Therefore please consider this post simply a mark of respect and not an out pouring of grief.

Rest in peace Siss.

Thanks everyone but once again I need to stress the feeling with the family is more of relief than grief.

You would have needed to know Rose to understand.

We recently lost the mother of my girlfriend from cancer.. This illness is the worst to deal with. Time will heal your pain , just think she doesnt suffer now. May you live long and remember her

My condolences

Sorry to hear this Ken,

Sometimes the battle against cancer can't be won.

Indeed in some circumstances your better of when you go to the other place

without pain and misery.

Now, your sister has escaped from all worldly suffering...

She is now free of all fetters,

And will no longer have to live through this world's cruelty, misery,

distress, pain and hardship.

Perhaps your sister is at peace now,

Closer to God and angels.

This is it exactly, thank you Vly

I do thank all my friends for their kind words, regardless of the life she had she was still my sister and yes there was very good times amongst the thorns.

I don't ever pray but I can send positive thoughts. I hope your sister is doing great wherever she is now.

All the best to you, Ken.

Kind regards

Val.
