Alleged Rep Rolex White Submariner on Gen Forum?

Recommended Posts

Hi

A regular and established poster on TZUK has posted pics of her new white gold submariner which is now being questioned over its authenticity, what do the experts here think?

Points that have been raised:

- The indices look too thick

- The cyclops magnification seems odd

- The pearl position looks misaligned on its triangle

- First minute marker on the bezel seems too close to the pearl triangle

wow yea... the lume application looks terrible and so is the pearl. Funny how the green one looks like a noobmariner. Don't you think the owner would've realized very quickly that the white gold sub should be heavier than a stainless steel one? I wonder who's trying to take who as a chump?

Ceramic blue is definitely fake. Just look at the hour hand base - it's about twice as big as it should be.

http://www.blowers-jewellers.co.uk/116619LB_S12541.htm what are the chances, huh. Just in case you hadn't spotted it: the hour hand is not visible in the sales pictures.

Yeah, they both look like reps. I don't see AR on the cyclops of the blue one, the pearl sucks, the lume markers look wrong and the hour hand looks too thick. "She" could never have been duped into buying a rep at gen prices as the gen white gold would weigh a ton.
