3 months and 7000 miles on my car later.... my 5512 is still rocking across America! :)

Not going to ever be the greatest, but it'll always be my first build and its in to the home stretch.

 

I love that dial!  Now you have to make the hands match it.  A very simple (and irreversible) way to add some tint is to hold a lit cigarette close to the hands (while they're mounted on toothpicks) and let the heat discolor them.  Go slow.

Thanks for the tip! I'm going to have to find a new seconds hand as its slipping on the pin.

The dial was what made the build. It was the first piece I bought and I fell in love with it. It's odd since the hands are allegedly from the same watch.

What u do to refinish the bezel?? V6 bezel? That looks so gen to me in ur pics

Maybe is a gen

Just kidding, it is TC but don't know which version. Have few laying around

First I refinish with satin wheel and then polish the top of it
