arty909 Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 Here are my only few that remain; I could give a list you wouldn't believe (sigh). Cheers, Arty
StormTooper4 Posted February 27, 2008 Report Posted February 27, 2008 It needs some work and TLC but I'm quite fond of it
Ztech Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Sorry no pics, but I'm sport'n my daily wear. An Omega Planet Ocean on bracelet.
Jimmythree Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 1960s Zodiac Seawolf no date with black dial
arty909 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 1960s Zodiac Seawolf no date with black dial Nice. I'm sure you know that was a standard issue military dive watch- any pics? Arty
Jetsons Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 We should do this more often. stormtooper4, nice Fortis. It's very similar to my Hamilton ca 1968. Great classic and worth the TLC. A little color today: Tomorrow, probably this one:
arty909 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Zodiac, hmmmm- Here's one of mine I had to let go- a 1972 Super Sea Wolf Valjoux 72 manual wind. Someone offered me an insane amount of coin for it; so I had to dump it.
andreww Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Nice. I'm sure you know that was a standard issue military dive watch- any pics? Arty Also the preferred watch of infamous San Francisco area serial killer "The Zodiac". Its theorized that he took his name and logo from the Zodiac Seawolf that his mother had given him.
Stephane Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I'll start off by doing the honors: I love it If only I could find a good rep of one of these variations! My GMT Master II: Ah, that one is missing in my logical gen Rolex quest...probably one day. My 16760 transitional GMT Master ll "The Fat Lady" Would be even better maybe Great idea Anton, I can't see why we wouldn't be allowed to buy gens after a while! It's great pleasure to see them here So here are mines and the wife/daughter/son ones The girls My son and my sons future My very very long travel to these ones
Ztech Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 One of my favorite diver watches, Very nice! I've got a Mil Sharky version sitting at home.
predfan2001 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I'm down to this huge Hamilton Khaki XL. I've had it for years and it keeps on ticking. My Dad liked it so I found him one on eBay just like it.
ubiquitous Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 The only gen I bothered to hang onto. Everything else in the watchbox is a franken, with the exception of my Nautilus Jumbo and Royal Oak Jumbo reps. All original 165.024: Maybe this one counts as well? No name tourbillon....
Dani Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 gen lineup on rotation this week.. The UN is mighty nice one of my favs
rower Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I buy them but can't seem to want to sell them.
Corgi Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 This thread makes me mighty might jealous!! Some of ya'll have really great genuine timepieces. I think I would like to own each and every one! Sorry about the crappy 'stock photo' pictures, but this timepiece is not allowed to get any wrist time nor is it on display at home, rather, it is in a secret location for security purposes. Its value is more sentimental than monetary, but with over 100 years of history under its belt, it is a time machine responsible for telling the time of the most seemingly trivial things - like when to get to an appointment or a date - and also the most important things where people's very lives were at stake. If not for this watch, I may not even be here today... it really makes you think.
Victoria Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Movado Esperanza Klarlund Closed Case Front Lyndon Pilot Watch Casio Baby-G Shock Technomarine Tmcsun Tiffany & Co Elgin Closed Case Front #1 Poljot JL Extra shot of Omega gold And of course...Vintage Rolex Ladies Watch (Wristcheck to follow) Note: These are watches inclusive to the 1 Oct 2007 Wristchecks, so End of Part 1. I omitted several watches, such as the "Nantucket" ones, Swiss Army, Philip Persio, and the like because though gens, they're frivolous. Also, I need verification of models of some, so if you know or want to correct please do!
AMK000 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 gen lineup on rotation this week.. Nice
Victoria Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 You know, if ever TTK posts his gens on this thread, the internets will shut down.
