Chronus
That's what I'm hoping for. Hopefully at a reasonable price.
Finepics
Actually I might take a little credit here - this is the reply I had from Ken last week after I pointed out to him the problem with the bezel markers: "About the Pam187, we are still working to get that model released. I know the bezel is not so great on the first model so we will try to fix that problem as well." So there you have it - from the horses mouth. Read into that what you will but it will come - not a case of if but a case of when.
Watchmeister
Hey wait a minute, I said that 5 months ago (actually Ken did). I am very impressed that his group is taking concerns from members seriously. Now whatever happened to Kenji? Anyone remember him?
ehtolcad
guys i hate to rain on everyon else's parade, but the time has finally come that i too will take some credit. this may come as a shock to some, but upon reflection i have discovered that approximately two weeks ago, i bumped this thread with a funny one-liner. without that, who knows where this project would be. god speed gents. Watchmeister
Okay, I give on this one. But let me take you back to another place and time before RWG.cc existed: TRC - April 2006: Kruzer00: They are selling all over the world. However, at the moment, it appears to be only available outside Japan through the affiliate of the Japanese dealer. And as such the dealer can charge a hefty price. Then again the dealer earned his exclusive by outlaying $10,000 to buy the genuine 187 to allow the manufacturer to take it apart to CNC a number of the key parts and then providing a sizable intial order. To date only 150 or so have been made. There have been many rumors of the exclusive ending and wholesalers stepping up to make another large scale order. But none of those rumors have been confirmed. As for the 7753 version, we are told by the Japanese dealer that the decision as to whether to make it or not is likely to be made this Summer. But that doesn't mean they will elect to do so. I've been begging for a 7753 since late March. Alot of good it has done so far.
Willith
Ok, now I'll take credit for all of this because I've been a moderator on both RWG's for nearly 2 years now and that's a lot of work. Actually we can give Thomas credit over all of us for starting this forum and to Blade for starting RWG #1 and then credit back to Thomas for starting TRC many years ago, so there's a lot of credit to spread, but no PAM187 with the 7753 on my wrist, so who's taking the blame for that? Watchmeister
I don't want any credit, just the watch. I do hope it is forthcoming soon. At the rate at which new reps for new PAM and IWC models are coming I will be out of money by the time it comes.
