Great build, I have worn a gen before. The bezel insert is pretty good with serif but the font is slightly too thin. The hands seems a little odd to me where the lume seems to have been sitting quite far behind rather than almost flush with a gen. The hands also seems to be a smidge too thick. My opinion, nowadays, is that I wouldn’t buy a 5 digit sub without a SH3135 movement in it, something which TC’s do not have. You can pick up a JF for $400, throw in a gen insert and date wheel for an extra $250 and you have an excellent sub for $650. In my opinion, better than a TC. Just my humble opinion though, others will disagree I’m sure.1 point

Gen dial? No, not on this one, it’s a blue rep dial. I had the colour of the hands changed, a black date wheel fitted, a prof 2xAR crystal installed and the PO bezel fitted. Oh and a gen crown and tube fitting started the whole thing off.
