  1. I'm with my buddy seafoam today...only that it is a custom vintage Titus...
  2. My Arnie Seiko and I is goin' Predator huntin'...
  3. I think the obvious is that the seller listed it as a small rose 9411...Tudor never made a 9411 with a small rose dial...
  4. You forgot the hands and the aftermarket case and if you can't put it together...add another $400-$500 for a watchsmith to put it together...so all in...~3.9k pounds or about $6K US...if you buy a gen for about $7 to $7.5k US...the decision would be very apparent on what to do...I don't see it listed now, but Brenner & Sons just had one listed yesterday for a "Buy It Now" for $7.5K on fleabay...
  5. Yeah...Tony is really good to deal with...just order two pairs of Studios, all in $158...so it is definitely cheaper if you buy more than one!
  6. I agree with Ubi...TT run about $7.5k, SS about $9.5k...maybe cheaper if someone is desperate to sell.
  7. I think I really lost some of my blood, sweat, and tears while doing this project...so hands off everyone! If M...were to to sell it, I would have first dibs! RIght M??
  8. Hey woof...I bought unfilled pearls from another forum member (I can't remember where he got them, I think it was Yuki)...darkened my vintage lume a bit and stuffed the pearl with it...
  9. Poor SyL dial...we'll resurrect that project one day!
  10. Ay chihuahua...that is a great build! Congrats!
  11. We are back up and a great new format...thanks admin!!!
  12. Correct...not the GMT IIc case, I think that would be too fat!
  13. The Fat Lady eh...how about using a more modern GMT case and reworking it? I would figure that the modern cases would be a little thicker than the vintage models. Might be something to consider...
  14. Of course it is!!! I built it myself!!!! I basically took parts from two DW pushers.... ...and worked it until I got the millerighe effect Now the question is how do I get rid of that line on the sleeve...solder perhaps??
  15. hhmmm...source a better coin edge bezel and fix those cgs and it might not be bad afterall...is the verdict still out on the crown size?
  16. M's 5512 cousin, but even rarer!!!
  17. Very nice J! Maybe you can make it into the famous PCG 7928!!!
  18. Sweet!!! But a polish would ruin the SR-71's stealth flat black finish!!!
  19. Very nice Andy...a classic model...a keeper for the long run
  20. This s my fear... I guess I'll have to scour the sales forums...
